陰謀殺害耶穌
22 除酵節——又叫逾越節——快到了。 2 祭司長們和經文士們在圖謀怎樣能殺掉耶穌，因為他們怕民眾。
3 那時，撒旦進入了那稱為加略人的猶大裡面。猶大算是十二使徒[a]中的一個。 4 他去跟祭司長們和守衛長們[b]商量怎樣把耶穌交給他們。 5 他們就歡喜，並且說好要給他銀錢。 6 猶大同意了，就開始找機會，要趁眾人不在的時候，把耶穌交給他們。
預備逾越節的晚餐
7 除酵節的第一日到了，在這一天必須宰殺逾越節的羔羊。 8 耶穌差派彼得和約翰，說：「你們去為我們預備逾越節的晚餐，好讓我們能吃上。」
9 他們問耶穌：「你要我們在哪裡預備呢？」
10 耶穌對他們說：「看哪！你們進了城，會有一個人提著一罐水迎面而來，你們就跟著他，到他所進的那一家去， 11 對那家的主人說：『老師問你：我與我的門徒們一起吃逾越節晚餐的客房在哪裡呢？』 12 他會給你們看樓上一間布置好的大房間，你們就在那裡預備吧。」
13 他們去了，看到的正如耶穌對他們所說的。他們就預備了逾越節的晚餐。
第一次聖餐
14 時候一到，耶穌就坐席，十二[c]使徒也和他同坐。 15 耶穌對他們說：「我一直非常渴望在我受難之前，與你們一起吃這逾越節的晚餐。 16 我告訴你們：我絕不[d]吃這晚餐，直等到逾越節在神的國裡得以成就。」 17 耶穌拿起杯來，祝謝了，說：「你們拿這個，大家分著喝。 18 我告訴你們：從今以後[e]我絕不喝這葡萄汁[f]，直到神的國來臨。」
19 他又拿起餅來，祝謝了，掰開遞給他們，說：「這是我的身體，為你們獻上的；你們應當如此行，為的是記念我。」
20 晚餐後，他也照樣拿起杯來，說：「這杯是用我的血所立的新約，為你們所流的。[g] 21 不過看哪，那賣我之人的手，與我的手一同在這桌子上， 22 因為人子確實要按照所決定的離去。不過出賣人子的那個人有禍了。」
23 於是他們開始彼此議論，他們當中究竟是誰會做這事。
爭論誰最大
24 門徒之間也起了爭論：他們當中誰算是更大的。 25 耶穌對他們說：「外邦人有君王轄制他們，他們的掌權者被稱為恩主。 26 但你們卻不是這樣；相反，你們當中誰更大，誰就該變得像年幼的那樣；領頭的，該像服事人的。 27 坐席的或服事的，到底哪一個更大呢？難道不是坐席的嗎？然而我在你們中間，是像服事人的。 28 不過我在試煉當中，始終與我在一起的就是你們； 29 並且我把國度賜給你們，就像我父賜給了我那樣， 30 使你們在我的國度裡，在我的筵席上吃喝；並且坐在寶座上審判以色列的十二個支派。」
預言彼得不認主
31 主又說[h]：「西門，西門，你看，撒旦想要得著你們，要篩你們像篩麥子一樣。 32 但是，我已經為你祈求，使你不失去信仰。所以當你回轉過來的時候，要堅固你的弟兄們。」
33 可是彼得對耶穌說：「主啊，我預備好要與你一起去監獄、一起去死！」
34 耶穌卻說：「彼得，我告訴你：今天雞叫以前，你會三次否定認識我。」
錢包、行囊、刀
35 接著耶穌問他們：「我從前差派你們出去的時候，你們不帶錢包、行囊、鞋子，你們缺少過什麼沒有？」
他們說：「沒有。」
36 耶穌卻對他們說：「但現在，有錢包的應當帶著；同樣，有行囊的也應當帶著；沒有刀的，應當賣掉自己的外衣去買一把。 37 我告訴你們：經上記著：『他被列在不法之徒當中』[i]，這話必須在我身上成就，因為那有關我的事就要有個結局了。」
38 他們說：「主啊，你看，這裡有兩把刀。」
耶穌說：「實在夠了。」
園中的禱告
39 耶穌出來，照他的習慣往橄欖山去，門徒們也跟著他。 40 到了那地方，耶穌對他們說：「你們要禱告，免得陷入試探。」 41 然後他抽出身，離他們約有扔一塊石頭的距離，跪下禱告， 42 說：「父啊，如果你願意，請把這杯從我這裡拿走吧！但不要成就我的意思，而要成就你的意思。」
43 有一位天使從天上向他顯現，加添他的力量。 44 耶穌在極大的痛苦中，禱告更加懇切；他的汗珠變得像大血滴，落在地上。[j] 45 禱告完了，他起身到門徒那裡，看見他們因為憂傷都睡著了， 46 就對他們說：「你們為什麼睡覺呢？起來禱告，免得陷入試探。」
猶大親吻的暗號
47 耶穌還在說話的時候，忽然來了一群人。十二使徒中的一個，就是那稱為猶大的，走在他們前頭。他靠近耶穌，要親吻他。 48 耶穌對他說：「猶大，你用親吻禮來出賣人子嗎？」
49 耶穌周圍的人看到要發生的事，就說：「主啊，我們要用刀砍嗎？」 50 其中一個人向大祭司的奴僕砍去，削掉了他的右耳。
51 耶穌應聲說：「住手，到此為止！」然後摸一下那個人的耳朵，使他痊癒了。 52 耶穌對前來對付他的祭司長們、聖殿守衛長們和長老們說：「你們帶著刀劍和棍棒出來，就像對付強盜那樣嗎？ 53 我天天在聖殿裡與你們在一起的時候，你們不向我下手。不過現在是你們的時候了，是黑暗掌權的時候了！」
彼得不認主
54 他們抓住耶穌，把他帶走，押到大祭司的家裡。彼得遠遠地跟著。 55 他們在院子當中生了火，一起坐著。彼得也坐在他們中間。 56 有一個女僕看見彼得坐在火光中，就注視著他，說：「這個人也與他是一夥的。」
57 彼得卻否認說：「你這個女人哪，我不認識他！」
58 過了一會兒，另一個人看見他，就說：「你也是與他們一夥的！」
彼得說：「你這個人哪，我不是！」
59 大約過了一個小時，又有一個人肯定地說：「這個人真的也是與他一夥的，因為他也是加利利人。」
60 彼得說：「你這個人哪，我不知道你在說什麼！」他正說著的時候，雞立時就叫了。 61 主轉過身來注視彼得，彼得就想起主對他說過的話：「今天雞叫以前，你會三次不認我。」 62 他就到外面去，痛哭起來。
被戲弄與鞭打
63 看守耶穌[k]的人戲弄他、毆打他， 64 又蒙住他的眼睛問他，[l]說：「你說預言吧！打你的是誰？」 65 他們還說了很多別的話辱罵他。
在議員面前受審
66 一到天亮，民間的長老議會，包括祭司長們和經文士們，就聚集在一起。他們把耶穌帶到議會裡， 67 說：「你如果是基督，就告訴我們吧。」
耶穌對他們說：「就算我告訴你們，你們也絕不會相信； 68 就算我問你們，你們也絕不會回答[m]。 69 但從今以後，人子要坐在全能神的右邊。」
70 他們都說：「那麼，你是神的兒子嗎？」
耶穌對他們說：「是你們說的，我就是。」
71 他們說：「難道我們還需要什麼證據嗎？他親口說的話，我們都親耳聽見了[n]。」

犹大出卖耶稣
22 除酵节，又名逾越节，快到了。 2 祭司长和律法教师因为害怕百姓，便密谋如何杀害耶稣。 3 这时，撒旦进入加略人犹大的心，这人原是十二使徒之一。 4 他去见祭司长和圣殿护卫长，商议如何把耶稣出卖给他们， 5 他们喜出望外，答应给犹大一笔酬金。 6 犹大同意了，便伺机找百姓不在的场合将耶稣交给他们。
最后的晚餐
7 除酵节到了，那天要宰杀逾越羊羔。 8 耶稣差派彼得和约翰出去，说：“你们为我们准备逾越节吃的晚餐。”
9 他们问：“你要我们到哪里去预备呢？”
10 耶稣回答说：“你们进城的时候，一个男子会扛着一瓶水迎面走来，你们要跟着他，他进哪所房子，你们也进去， 11 对房子的主人说，‘老师问你客房在哪里，祂要和门徒在里面吃逾越节的晚餐。’ 12 那主人会带你们到楼上一间布置整齐的大房间，你们就在那里预备吧。”

设立圣餐
14 晚餐时，耶稣和使徒们一同坐席。 15 耶稣对他们说：“我一直盼望在受难之前和你们同吃这个逾越节的宴席。 16 我告诉你们，在这宴席成就在上帝的国度之前，我不会再吃这宴席了。”
17 祂接过杯来，祝谢后，说：“你们拿去分着喝吧。 18 我告诉你们，在上帝的国降临之前，我不会再喝这葡萄酒了。”
19 接着，祂拿起饼来，祝谢后，掰开递给他们，说：“这是我为你们牺牲的身体，你们今后也要这样做，以纪念我。”
20 饭后，祂又举起杯来，说：“这杯是用我的血立的新约，这血是为你们流的。
21 “但是看啊，那出卖我之人的手和我的手都在桌子上。 22 按照所定的，人子要死去，但那出卖人子的人有祸了！” 23 他们开始彼此追问谁会出卖耶稣。
谁最伟大
24 门徒又开始争论他们当中谁最伟大。 25 耶稣对他们说：“外族人有君王统治他们，那些统治者被称为恩主， 26 但你们不可这样。相反，你们中间地位最高的，要像最卑微的；做首领的，要像服侍人的。 27 坐着吃饭的和伺候的哪个地位高呢？难道不是坐着的那个吗？然而，我在你们当中是服侍人的。
28 “在我患难之时，你们一直在我身边， 29 所以，我父怎样将国赐给我，我也照样将国赐给你们， 30 使你们在我的国中和我一同坐席，并且坐在宝座上审判以色列的十二个支派。”
预言彼得不认主
31 耶稣说：“西门！西门！撒旦已经要求像筛麦子一样筛你们， 32 但我已经为你祷告了，叫你不至于失去信心。你回头以后，要让你的弟兄刚强。”
33 西门·彼得说：“主啊，我愿意和你一起坐牢，一起受死！”
34 耶稣说：“彼得，我告诉你，明早鸡叫之前，你会三次不认我。”
35 耶稣又问门徒：“我派你们出去的时候，无钱袋、背包和鞋子，你们有任何缺乏吗？”
他们答道：“没有。”
36 耶稣说：“但现在如果有钱袋或背包，都要带着；如果没有刀剑，要卖掉衣服买刀剑。 37 我告诉你们，‘祂要被列在罪犯中’这句经文必在我身上应验，因为圣经上有关我的事情快要实现了。”
38 他们说：“主啊，请看，这里有两把刀。”耶稣说：“够了。”
橄榄山上的祷告
39 耶稣离开，像往常一样前往橄榄山，门徒也跟去了。 40 到了山上，祂对门徒说：“你们要祷告，以免陷入诱惑！”
41 然后，祂独自走到离门徒约有扔一块石头那么远的地方跪下祷告： 42 “父啊，若你愿意，求你撤去此杯。然而，愿你的旨意成就，而非我的意愿。” 43 有一位从天上来的天使向祂显现，给祂加添力量。
44 祂心中极其悲痛，祷告更恳切，汗珠如血滴在地上。
45 祂祷告完后，便起身回到门徒那里，看见他们因忧愁而疲惫地睡着了， 46 就说：“你们为什么睡觉呢？要起来祷告，以免陷入诱惑！”
耶稣被捕
47 耶稣还在说话的时候，十二使徒中的犹大已带着一群人赶到，他上前亲吻耶稣。 48 耶稣对他说：“犹大，你用亲吻的暗号来出卖人子吗？”
49 跟随耶稣的人见他们来势汹汹，就说：“主啊，我们该拔刀抵抗吗？” 50 其中一人拔刀朝大祭司的奴仆砍过去，削掉了他的右耳。
51 耶稣却说：“住手！够了！”于是祂摸那奴仆的耳朵，治好了他， 52 然后对前来抓祂的祭司长、圣殿护卫长和长老说：“你们像对付强盗一样拿着刀棍来抓我吗？ 53 我天天和你们一起在圣殿里，你们没有抓我。但现在正是黑暗当权、你们得势的时候了！”

54 他们把耶稣押到大祭司的府第。彼得远远地跟在后面。
55 他们在庭院当中生起了火，围坐取暖，彼得也坐在他们中间。 56 有个婢女看见彼得坐在火堆边，打量他一番后，说：“这人是与耶稣一伙的！”
57 彼得却否认说：“你这女子，我不认识祂。”
58 过了一会儿，又有个人看见了彼得，就说：“你也是跟他们一伙的！”
彼得说：“你这人，我不是！”
59 大约一小时之后，又有人指着彼得肯定地说：“这人确实是和耶稣一伙的，因为他也是加利利人。”
60 彼得说：“你这人，我不知道你在说什么！”话才出口，鸡就叫了。

Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus(A)
22 Now the Festival of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching,(B) 2 and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus,(C) for they were afraid of the people. 3 Then Satan(D) entered Judas, called Iscariot,(E) one of the Twelve. 4 And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard(F) and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. 5 They were delighted and agreed to give him money.(G) 6 He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.
The Last Supper(H)(I)(J)(K)(L)
7 Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.(M) 8 Jesus sent Peter and John,(N) saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”
9 “Where do you want us to prepare for it?” they asked.
10 He replied, “As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, 11 and say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 12 He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. Make preparations there.”
13 They left and found things just as Jesus had told them.(O) So they prepared the Passover.
14 When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles(P) reclined at the table.(Q) 15 And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.(R) 16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.”(S)
17 After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you. 18 For I tell you I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it,(T) and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant(U) in my blood, which is poured out for you.[a] 21 But the hand of him who is going to betray me is with mine on the table.(V) 22 The Son of Man(W) will go as it has been decreed.(X) But woe to that man who betrays him!” 23 They began to question among themselves which of them it might be who would do this.
24 A dispute also arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest.(Y) 25 Jesus said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors. 26 But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest,(Z) and the one who rules like the one who serves.(AA) 27 For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.(AB) 28 You are those who have stood by me in my trials. 29 And I confer on you a kingdom,(AC) just as my Father conferred one on me, 30 so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom(AD) and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.(AE)
31 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked(AF) to sift all of you as wheat.(AG) 32 But I have prayed for you,(AH) Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”(AI)
33 But he replied, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.”(AJ)
34 Jesus answered, “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
35 Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals,(AK) did you lack anything?”
“Nothing,” they answered.
36 He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. 37 It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’[b];(AL) and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.”
38 The disciples said, “See, Lord, here are two swords.”
“That’s enough!” he replied.
Jesus Prays on the Mount of Olives(AM)
39 Jesus went out as usual(AN) to the Mount of Olives,(AO) and his disciples followed him. 40 On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”(AP) 41 He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down(AQ) and prayed, 42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup(AR) from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”(AS) 43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.(AT) 44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.[c]
45 When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow. 46 “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.”(AU)
Jesus Arrested(AV)
47 While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him, 48 but Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”
49 When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?”(AW) 50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.
51 But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.
52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard,(AX) and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? 53 Every day I was with you in the temple courts,(AY) and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour(AZ)—when darkness reigns.”(BA)
Peter Disowns Jesus(BB)
54 Then seizing him, they led him away and took him into the house of the high priest.(BC) Peter followed at a distance.(BD) 55 And when some there had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter sat down with them. 56 A servant girl saw him seated there in the firelight. She looked closely at him and said, “This man was with him.”
57 But he denied it. “Woman, I don’t know him,” he said.
58 A little later someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.”
“Man, I am not!” Peter replied.
59 About an hour later another asserted, “Certainly this fellow was with him, for he is a Galilean.”(BE)
60 Peter replied, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Just as he was speaking, the rooster crowed. 61 The Lord(BF) turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.”(BG) 62 And he went outside and wept bitterly.
The Guards Mock Jesus(BH)
63 The men who were guarding Jesus began mocking and beating him. 64 They blindfolded him and demanded, “Prophesy! Who hit you?” 65 And they said many other insulting things to him.(BI)
Jesus Before Pilate and Herod(BJ)(BK)(BL)
66 At daybreak the council(BM) of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and the teachers of the law, met together,(BN) and Jesus was led before them. 67 “If you are the Messiah,” they said, “tell us.”
Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe me, 68 and if I asked you, you would not answer.(BO) 69 But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.”(BP)
70 They all asked, “Are you then the Son of God?”(BQ)
He replied, “You say that I am.”(BR)
71 Then they said, “Why do we need any more testimony? We have heard it from his own lips.”

The Plot to Kill Jesus(A)
22 Now (B)the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called Passover. 2 And (C)the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill Him, for they feared the people.
3 (D)Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the (E)twelve. 4 So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. 5 And they were glad, and (F)agreed to give him money. 6 So he promised and sought opportunity to (G)betray Him to them in the absence of the multitude.
Jesus and His Disciples Prepare the Passover
7 (H)Then came the Day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover must be [a]killed. 8 And He sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”
9 So they said to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare?”
10 And He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house which he enters. 11 Then you shall say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?” ’ 12 Then he will show you a large, furnished upper room; there make ready.”
13 So they went and (I)found it just as He had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.
Jesus Institutes the Lord’s Supper
14 (J)When the hour had come, He sat down, and the [b]twelve apostles with Him. 15 Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16 for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it (K)until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
17 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves; 18 for (L)I say to you, [c]I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
19 (M)And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My (N)body which is given for you; (O)do this in remembrance of Me.”
20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, (P)“This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you. 21 (Q)But behold, the hand of My betrayer is with Me on the table. 22 (R)And truly the Son of Man goes (S)as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!”
23 (T)Then they began to question among themselves, which of them it was who would do this thing.
The Disciples Argue About Greatness
24 (U)Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest. 25 (V)And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ 26 (W)But not so among you; on the contrary, (X)he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves. 27 (Y)For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet (Z)I am among you as the One who serves.
28 “But you are those who have continued with Me in (AA)My trials. 29 And (AB)I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, 30 that (AC)you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, (AD)and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial(AE)
31 [d]And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, (AF)Satan has asked for you, that he may (AG)sift you as wheat. 32 But (AH)I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, (AI)strengthen your brethren.”
33 But he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You, both to prison and to death.”
34 (AJ)Then He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster shall not crow this day before you will deny three times that you know Me.”
Supplies for the Road
35 (AK)And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?”
So they said, “Nothing.”
36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. 37 For I say to you that this which is written must still be [e]accomplished in Me: (AL)‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.”
38 So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.”
And He said to them, “It is enough.”
The Prayer in the Garden(AM)
39 (AN)Coming out, (AO)He went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him. 40 (AP)When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
41 (AQ)And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless (AR)not My will, but Yours, be done.” 43 [f]Then (AS)an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. 44 (AT)And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45 When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow. 46 Then He said to them, “Why (AU)do you sleep? Rise and (AV)pray, lest you enter into temptation.”
Betrayal and Arrest in Gethsemane(AW)
47 And while He was still speaking, (AX)behold, a multitude; and he who was called (AY)Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him. 48 But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a (AZ)kiss?”
49 When those around Him saw what was going to happen, they said to Him, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?” 50 And (BA)one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.
51 But Jesus answered and said, “Permit even this.” And He touched his ear and healed him.
52 (BB)Then Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and the elders who had come to Him, “Have you come out, as against a (BC)robber, with swords and clubs? 53 When I was with you daily in the (BD)temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your (BE)hour, and the power of darkness.”
Peter Denies Jesus, and Weeps Bitterly(BF)
54 (BG)Having arrested Him, they led Him and brought Him into the high priest’s house. (BH)But Peter followed at a distance. 55 (BI)Now when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them. 56 And a certain servant girl, seeing him as he sat by the fire, looked intently at him and said, “This man was also with Him.”
57 But he denied [g]Him, saying, “Woman, I do not know Him.”
58 (BJ)And after a little while another saw him and said, “You also are of them.”
But Peter said, “Man, I am not!”
59 (BK)Then after about an hour had passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, “Surely this fellow also was with Him, for he is a (BL)Galilean.”
60 But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are saying!”
Immediately, while he was still speaking, [h]the rooster crowed. 61 And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then (BM)Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, (BN)“Before the rooster [i]crows, you will deny Me three times.” 62 So Peter went out and wept bitterly.
Jesus Mocked and Beaten(BO)
63 (BP)Now the men who held Jesus mocked Him and (BQ)beat Him. 64 [j]And having blindfolded Him, they (BR)struck Him on the face and asked Him, saying, “Prophesy! Who is the one who struck You?” 65 And many other things they blasphemously spoke against Him.
Jesus Faces the Sanhedrin(BS)
66 (BT)As soon as it was day, (BU)the elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, came together and led Him into their council, saying, 67 (BV)“If You are the Christ, tell us.”
But He said to them, “If I tell you, you will (BW)by no means believe. 68 And if I [k]also ask you, you will by no means answer [l]Me or let Me go. 69 (BX)Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the power of God.”
70 Then they all said, “Are You then the Son of God?”
So He said to them, (BY)“You rightly say that I am.”
71 (BZ)And they said, “What further testimony do we need? For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth.”

22 除酵节——又叫逾越节——快到了。 2 祭司长们和经文士们在图谋怎样能杀掉耶稣，因为他们怕民众。
3 那时，撒旦进入了那称为加略人的犹大里面。犹大算是十二使徒[a]中的一个。 4 他去跟祭司长们和守卫长们[b]商量怎样把耶稣交给他们。 5 他们就欢喜，并且说好要给他银钱。 6 犹大同意了，就开始找机会，要趁众人不在的时候，把耶稣交给他们。
预备逾越节的晚餐
7 除酵节的第一日到了，在这一天必须宰杀逾越节的羔羊。 8 耶稣差派彼得和约翰，说：“你们去为我们预备逾越节的晚餐，好让我们能吃上。”
9 他们问耶稣：“你要我们在哪里预备呢？”
10 耶稣对他们说：“看哪！你们进了城，会有一个人提着一罐水迎面而来，你们就跟着他，到他所进的那一家去， 11 对那家的主人说：‘老师问你：我与我的门徒们一起吃逾越节晚餐的客房在哪里呢？’ 12 他会给你们看楼上一间布置好的大房间，你们就在那里预备吧。”
13 他们去了，看到的正如耶稣对他们所说的。他们就预备了逾越节的晚餐。
第一次圣餐
14 时候一到，耶稣就坐席，十二[c]使徒也和他同坐。 15 耶稣对他们说：“我一直非常渴望在我受难之前，与你们一起吃这逾越节的晚餐。 16 我告诉你们：我绝不[d]吃这晚餐，直等到逾越节在神的国里得以成就。” 17 耶稣拿起杯来，祝谢了，说：“你们拿这个，大家分着喝。 18 我告诉你们：从今以后[e]我绝不喝这葡萄汁[f]，直到神的国来临。”
19 他又拿起饼来，祝谢了，掰开递给他们，说：“这是我的身体，为你们献上的；你们应当如此行，为的是记念我。”
20 晚餐后，他也照样拿起杯来，说：“这杯是用我的血所立的新约，为你们所流的。[g] 21 不过看哪，那卖我之人的手，与我的手一同在这桌子上， 22 因为人子确实要按照所决定的离去。不过出卖人子的那个人有祸了。”
23 于是他们开始彼此议论，他们当中究竟是谁会做这事。
争论谁最大
24 门徒之间也起了争论：他们当中谁算是更大的。 25 耶稣对他们说：“外邦人有君王辖制他们，他们的掌权者被称为恩主。 26 但你们却不是这样；相反，你们当中谁更大，谁就该变得像年幼的那样；领头的，该像服事人的。 27 坐席的或服事的，到底哪一个更大呢？难道不是坐席的吗？然而我在你们中间，是像服事人的。 28 不过我在试炼当中，始终与我在一起的就是你们； 29 并且我把国度赐给你们，就像我父赐给了我那样， 30 使你们在我的国度里，在我的筵席上吃喝；并且坐在宝座上审判以色列的十二个支派。”
预言彼得不认主
31 主又说[h]：“西门，西门，你看，撒旦想要得着你们，要筛你们像筛麦子一样。 32 但是，我已经为你祈求，使你不失去信仰。所以当你回转过来的时候，要坚固你的弟兄们。”
33 可是彼得对耶稣说：“主啊，我预备好要与你一起去监狱、一起去死！”
34 耶稣却说：“彼得，我告诉你：今天鸡叫以前，你会三次否定认识我。”
钱包、行囊、刀
35 接着耶稣问他们：“我从前差派你们出去的时候，你们不带钱包、行囊、鞋子，你们缺少过什么没有？”
他们说：“没有。”
36 耶稣却对他们说：“但现在，有钱包的应当带着；同样，有行囊的也应当带着；没有刀的，应当卖掉自己的外衣去买一把。 37 我告诉你们：经上记着：‘他被列在不法之徒当中’[i]，这话必须在我身上成就，因为那有关我的事就要有个结局了。”
38 他们说：“主啊，你看，这里有两把刀。”
耶稣说：“实在够了。”
园中的祷告
39 耶稣出来，照他的习惯往橄榄山去，门徒们也跟着他。 40 到了那地方，耶稣对他们说：“你们要祷告，免得陷入试探。” 41 然后他抽出身，离他们约有扔一块石头的距离，跪下祷告， 42 说：“父啊，如果你愿意，请把这杯从我这里拿走吧！但不要成就我的意思，而要成就你的意思。”
43 有一位天使从天上向他显现，加添他的力量。 44 耶稣在极大的痛苦中，祷告更加恳切；他的汗珠变得像大血滴，落在地上。[j] 45 祷告完了，他起身到门徒那里，看见他们因为忧伤都睡着了， 46 就对他们说：“你们为什么睡觉呢？起来祷告，免得陷入试探。”
犹大亲吻的暗号
47 耶稣还在说话的时候，忽然来了一群人。十二使徒中的一个，就是那称为犹大的，走在他们前头。他靠近耶稣，要亲吻他。 48 耶稣对他说：“犹大，你用亲吻礼来出卖人子吗？”
49 耶稣周围的人看到要发生的事，就说：“主啊，我们要用刀砍吗？” 50 其中一个人向大祭司的奴仆砍去，削掉了他的右耳。
51 耶稣应声说：“住手，到此为止！”然后摸一下那个人的耳朵，使他痊愈了。 52 耶稣对前来对付他的祭司长们、圣殿守卫长们和长老们说：“你们带着刀剑和棍棒出来，就像对付强盗那样吗？ 53 我天天在圣殿里与你们在一起的时候，你们不向我下手。不过现在是你们的时候了，是黑暗掌权的时候了！”
彼得不认主
54 他们抓住耶稣，把他带走，押到大祭司的家里。彼得远远地跟着。 55 他们在院子当中生了火，一起坐着。彼得也坐在他们中间。 56 有一个女仆看见彼得坐在火光中，就注视着他，说：“这个人也与他是一伙的。”
57 彼得却否认说：“你这个女人哪，我不认识他！”
58 过了一会儿，另一个人看见他，就说：“你也是与他们一伙的！”
彼得说：“你这个人哪，我不是！”
59 大约过了一个小时，又有一个人肯定地说：“这个人真的也是与他一伙的，因为他也是加利利人。”
60 彼得说：“你这个人哪，我不知道你在说什么！”他正说着的时候，鸡立时就叫了。 61 主转过身来注视彼得，彼得就想起主对他说过的话：“今天鸡叫以前，你会三次不认我。” 62 他就到外面去，痛哭起来。
被戏弄与鞭打
63 看守耶稣[k]的人戏弄他、殴打他， 64 又蒙住他的眼睛问他，[l]说：“你说预言吧！打你的是谁？” 65 他们还说了很多别的话辱骂他。
在议员面前受审
66 一到天亮，民间的长老议会，包括祭司长们和经文士们，就聚集在一起。他们把耶稣带到议会里， 67 说：“你如果是基督，就告诉我们吧。”
耶稣对他们说：“就算我告诉你们，你们也绝不会相信； 68 就算我问你们，你们也绝不会回答[m]。 69 但从今以后，人子要坐在全能神的右边。”
70 他们都说：“那么，你是神的儿子吗？”
耶稣对他们说：“是你们说的，我就是。”
71 他们说：“难道我们还需要什么证据吗？他亲口说的话，我们都亲耳听见了[n]。”
