求主败敌
83 神啊，求你不要静默！
神啊，求你不要闭口，不要不作声！
2 因为你的仇敌喧嚷，
恨你的抬起头来。
3 他们同谋奸诈要害你的百姓，
彼此商议要害你所保护的人。
4 他们说：“来吧，我们将他们除灭，
使他们不再成国！
使以色列的名不再被人记念！”
5 他们同心商议，
彼此结盟，要抵挡你；
6 他们就是住帐棚的以东和以实玛利人，
摩押和夏甲人，
7 迦巴勒、亚扪、
亚玛力、非利士和推罗的居民。
8 亚述也与他们联合，
作罗得子孙的帮手。（细拉）
9 求你待他们，如待米甸，
如在基顺河待西西拉和耶宾一样。
10 他们在隐‧多珥灭亡，
成了地上的粪土。
11 求你使他们的贵族像俄立和西伊伯，
使他们的王子都像西巴和撒慕拿。
12 因为他们说：“我们要得 神的住处，
作自己的产业。”
13 我的 神啊，求你使他们像旋风中的尘土，
如风前的碎秸。
14 火怎样焚烧树林，
火焰怎样烧着山岭，
15 求你也照样用狂风追赶他们，
用暴雨恐吓他们。
16 耶和华啊，求你使他们满面羞耻，
好叫他们寻求你的名！
17 愿他们永远羞愧惊惶！
愿他们惭愧灭亡！
18 愿他们认识你的名是耶和华，
惟独你是掌管全地的至高者！

祈求上帝击败仇敌
亚萨的诗。
83 上帝啊，求你不要缄默无声，
一言不发。
2 看啊，你的敌人在喧嚷，
恨你的人趾高气扬。
3 他们用诡计害你的子民，
他们一起谋害你所疼爱的人。
4 他们说：
“来吧，让我们铲除以色列，
让他们亡国，被人遗忘。”
5 他们串通一气，
勾结起来抵挡你。
6 他们是以东人、以实玛利人、摩押人、夏甲人、
7 迦巴勒人、亚扪人、亚玛力人、非利士人和泰尔人。
8 亚述也跟他们勾结，
要助罗得的后代一臂之力。（细拉）
9 求你对付他们，
如同对付米甸人和基顺河边的西西拉与耶宾。
10 他们在隐·多珥灭亡，
成了地上的粪土。
11 求你使他们的首领得到俄立和西伊伯那样的下场，
使他们的王侯得到西巴和撒慕拿那样的下场。
12 他们曾说：
“让我们夺取上帝的草场吧。”
13 我的上帝啊，求你把他们驱散，
如同狂风吹散尘土和碎秸。
14 烈火怎样烧毁森林，
火焰怎样吞没山岭，
15 求你也照样用狂风追赶他们，
用暴雨恐吓他们。
16 耶和华啊，
求你使他们满面羞愧，
这样他们才会来寻求你。
17 愿他们永远羞愧惊恐，
愿他们在耻辱中灭亡。
18 让他们知道你是耶和华，
唯有你是普天下的至高者。

Oración pidiendo la intervención de Dios
(1) Cántico y salmo de Asaf.
83 (2) Oh Dios, ¡no te quedes en silencio!,
¡no te quedes inmóvil y callado!
2 (3) Mira a tus enemigos, a los que te odian:
alborotan y se rebelan contra ti.
3 (4) Han hecho planes astutos
en contra de tu pueblo,
¡en contra de tus protegidos!
4 (5) Han pensado venir a destruirnos
para que dejemos de existir como nación,
para que no vuelva a recordarse el nombre de Israel.
5 (6) Han hecho un pacto en contra tuya,
han conspirado como un solo hombre:
6 (7) los campamentos de Edom y de Ismael,
los descendientes de Agar y de Moab,
7 (8) Guebal, Amón y Amalec,
los filisteos, los que viven en Tiro,
8 (9) y hasta los asirios se han unido a ellos,
y son el brazo fuerte de los hijos de Lot.
9 (10) Haz con ellos como hiciste con Madián,
como hiciste con Sísara,
como hiciste con Jabín en el arroyo de Quisón,
10 (11) que fueron destruidos en Endor,
¡que fueron convertidos en estiércol de la tierra!
11 (12) Haz con sus hombres importantes
como hiciste con Oreb y con Zeeb;
haz con todos sus jefes
como hiciste con Zébah y con Salmuná,
12 (13) que quisieron apropiarse de los pastizales de Dios.
13 (14) Dios mío, haz que rueden como zarzas,
como hojas secas arrastradas por el viento;
14 (15) y así como el fuego quema el bosque
y consume los montes con sus llamas,
15 (16) ¡así persíguelos con tus tormentas
y espántalos con tus tempestades!
16 (17) ¡Avergüénzalos, Señor,
para que recurran a ti!
17 (18) Que sean avergonzados para siempre;
¡que se avergüencen y mueran!
18 (19) ¡Que sepan que sólo tú eres el Señor,
que sólo tú eres el Altísimo
sobre toda la tierra!

1 O God, do not remain silent;(A)
do not turn a deaf ear,
do not stand aloof, O God.
2 See how your enemies growl,(B)
how your foes rear their heads.(C)
3 With cunning they conspire(D) against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.(E)
4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy(F) them as a nation,(G)
so that Israel’s name is remembered(H) no more.”
5 With one mind they plot together;(I)
they form an alliance against you—
6 the tents of Edom(J) and the Ishmaelites,
of Moab(K) and the Hagrites,(L)
7 Byblos,(M) Ammon(N) and Amalek,(O)
Philistia,(P) with the people of Tyre.(Q)
8 Even Assyria(R) has joined them
to reinforce Lot’s descendants.[b](S)
9 Do to them as you did to Midian,(T)
as you did to Sisera(U) and Jabin(V) at the river Kishon,(W)
10 who perished at Endor(X)
and became like dung(Y) on the ground.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb,(Z)
all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,(AA)
12 who said, “Let us take possession(AB)
of the pasturelands of God.”
