Psalm 73
New International Version
BOOK III
Psalms 73–89
Psalm 73
A psalm of Asaph.
1 Surely God is good to Israel,
to those who are pure in heart.(A)
2 But as for me, my feet had almost slipped;(B)
I had nearly lost my foothold.(C)
3 For I envied(D) the arrogant
when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.(E)
4 They have no struggles;
their bodies are healthy and strong.[a]
5 They are free(F) from common human burdens;
they are not plagued by human ills.
6 Therefore pride(G) is their necklace;(H)
they clothe themselves with violence.(I)
7 From their callous hearts(J) comes iniquity[b];
their evil imaginations have no limits.
8 They scoff, and speak with malice;(K)
with arrogance(L) they threaten oppression.(M)
9 Their mouths lay claim to heaven,
and their tongues take possession of the earth.
10 Therefore their people turn to them
and drink up waters in abundance.[c]
11 They say, “How would God know?
Does the Most High know anything?”
13 Surely in vain(P) I have kept my heart pure
and have washed my hands in innocence.(Q)
14 All day long I have been afflicted,(R)
and every morning brings new punishments.
15 If I had spoken out like that,
I would have betrayed your children.
16 When I tried to understand(S) all this,
it troubled me deeply
17 till I entered the sanctuary(T) of God;
then I understood their final destiny.(U)
18 Surely you place them on slippery ground;(V)
you cast them down to ruin.(W)
19 How suddenly(X) are they destroyed,
completely swept away(Y) by terrors!
20 They are like a dream(Z) when one awakes;(AA)
when you arise, Lord,
you will despise them as fantasies.(AB)
21 When my heart was grieved
and my spirit embittered,
22 I was senseless(AC) and ignorant;
I was a brute beast(AD) before you.
23 Yet I am always with you;
you hold me by my right hand.(AE)
24 You guide(AF) me with your counsel,(AG)
and afterward you will take me into glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?(AH)
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.(AI)
26 My flesh and my heart(AJ) may fail,(AK)
but God is the strength(AL) of my heart
and my portion(AM) forever.

就得到拯救;
我心中却一无所惧;
28 耶和华啊,我呼求你;

he will hide me(HG) in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock.(HH)
6 Then my head will be exalted(HI)
above the enemies who surround me;(HJ)
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice(HK) with shouts of joy;(HL)
I will sing(HM) and make music(HN) to the Lord.
7 Hear my voice(HO) when I call, Lord;
be merciful to me and answer me.(HP)
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!(HQ)”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face(HR) from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;(HS)
you have been my helper.(HT)
Do not reject me or forsake(HU) me,
God my Savior.(HV)
10 Though my father and mother forsake me,
the Lord will receive me.
11 Teach me your way,(HW) Lord;
lead me in a straight path(HX)
because of my oppressors.(HY)
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
for false witnesses(HZ) rise up against me,
spouting malicious accusations.
13 I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord(IA)
in the land of the living.(IB)
14 Wait(IC) for the Lord;
be strong(ID) and take heart
and wait for the Lord.
Psalm 28
Of David.
1 To you, Lord, I call;
you are my Rock,
do not turn a deaf ear(IE) to me.
For if you remain silent,(IF)
I will be like those who go down to the pit.(IG)
2 Hear my cry for mercy(IH)
as I call to you for help,
as I lift up my hands(II)
toward your Most Holy Place.(IJ)
3 Do not drag me away with the wicked,
with those who do evil,
who speak cordially with their neighbors
but harbor malice in their hearts.(IK)
4 Repay them for their deeds
and for their evil work;
repay them for what their hands have done(IL)
and bring back on them what they deserve.(IM)
5 Because they have no regard for the deeds of the Lord
and what his hands have done,(IN)
he will tear them down
and never build them up again.

就得到拯救;

4 He asked you for life, and you gave it to him—
length of days, for ever and ever.(F)
5 Through the victories(G) you gave, his glory is great;

7 For the king trusts in the Lord;(K)
through the unfailing love(L) of the Most High(M)

8 Your hand will lay hold(O) on all your enemies;

9 When you appear for battle,
you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace.
The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath,
and his fire will consume them.(P)
10 You will destroy their descendants from the earth,
their posterity from mankind.(Q)
11 Though they plot evil(R) against you

people stare(BK) and gloat over me.(BL)
