17 (A)Като изрече това, Исус вдигна очите Си към небето и каза: Отче, настана часът; прославѝ Сина Си, за да Те прослави и Синът Ти,
2 (B)както си Му дал власт над всяко създание да даде вечен живот на всички, които си Му дал.
3 (C)А това е вечен живот, да познаят Теб, единствения истинен Бог, и Исус Христос, Когото си изпратил.
4 (D)Аз те прославих на земята, като извърших делото, което Ти Ми даде да върша.
5 (E)И сега, прославѝ Ме, Отче, у Себе Си със славата, която имах у Тебе преди създанието на света.
6 (F)Изявих името Ти на човеците, които Ми даде от света. Те бяха Твои и Ти ги даде на Мен, и те опазиха Твоето слово.
7 Сега знаят, че всичко, което си Ми дал, е от Тебе;
8 (G)защото думите, които Ми даде Ти, Аз ги предадох на тях и те ги приеха; и наистина знаят, че излязох от Теб, и вярват, че Ти си Ме пратил.
9 (H)Аз за тях се моля; не се моля за света, а за тези, които си Ми дал, защото са Твои.
10 (I)И всичко Мое е Твое, и Твоето – Мое, и Аз се прославям в тях.
11 (J)Не съм вече на света, а тези са на света; и Аз идвам при Теб, Отче святи; опази в името Си тези, които си Ми дал, за да бъдат едно, както сме и Ние едно.
12 (K)Докато бях с тях, Аз пазех в Твоето име тези, които Ми даде, опазих ги и нито един от тях не погина, освен сина на погибелта, за да се изпълни Писанието.
13 А сега идвам при Тебе; но докато съм още на света, казвам това, за да имат Моята радост пълна в себе си.
14 (L)Аз им предадох Твоето слово; и светът ги намрази, защото те не са от света, както и Аз не съм от него.
15 (M)Не се моля да ги вземеш от света, но да ги пазиш от лукавия.
16 (N)Те не са от света, както и Аз не съм от света.
17 (O)Освети ги чрез истината; Твоето слово е истина.
18 (P)Както Ти прати Мене в света, така и Аз пратих тях в света;
19 (Q)и заради тях Аз освещавам Себе Си, за да бъдат и те осветени чрез истината.
20 И не само за тях се моля, но и за онези, които биха повярвали в Мене чрез тяхното учение,
21 (R)да бъдат всички едно; както Ти, Отче, си в Мен и Аз в Тебе, така и те да бъдат в Нас едно, за да повярва светът, че Ти си Ме пратил.
22 (S)И славата, която Ти Ми даде, Аз я дадох на тях; за да бъдат едно, както и Ние сме едно;
23 (T)Аз в тях и Ти в Мене, за да бъдат съвършени в единство; за да познае светът, че Ти си Ме пратил и си възлюбил тях, както си възлюбил Мен.
24 (U)Отче, желая където съм Аз, да бъдат с Мен и тези, които си Ми дал, за да гледат Моята слава, която си Ми дал; защото си Ме възлюбил преди създанието на света.
25 (V)Отче праведни, светът не Те е познал, но Аз Те познах; и тези познаха, че Ти си Ме пратил.

17 Apre Jezi te fin di bagay sa yo, li leve je l nan syèl la epi li di: “Papa, lè a rive, fè lwanj pou Pitit ou a, pou Pitit ou a kapab fè lwanj pou ou, 2 menm jan ou ba li pouvwa sou tout moun, pou l ka bay tout moun ou ba li lavi etènèl. 3 Lavi etènèl se lè yon moun konnen w kòm sèl vrè Bondye, epi lè l konnen Jezikris, moun ou voye a. 4 Mwen te fè lwanj pou ou sou latè, mwen fini travay ou te ban m fè a nèt. 5 Kounye a Papa, fè m jwenn lwanj kote w, lwanj mwen te genyen bò kote w depi anvan lemonn te egziste.
6 Mwen fè moun ou te pran ban mwen nan lemonn yo konnen ki moun ou ye. Se pou ou yo te ye, ou ban mwen yo, epi yo mete Pawòl ou an pratik. 7 Kounye a, yo konnen tout sa m posede se ou ki ban mwen yo. 8 Paske pawòl mwen te pale yo se pawòl pa w ou te ban mwen. Yo aksepte pawòl ou yo. Yo konnen mwen soti kote w toutbon vre, yo kwè se ou ki voye m. 9 M ap priye pou yo kounye a. Mwen p ap priye w pou lemonn, men pou sa ou ban mwen yo. Se pou ou yo ye, 10 tout sa k pou mwen se pou ou, menm jan tout sa k pou ou se pou mwen, epi mwen te jwenn lwanj nan yo.
11 Nan yon ti tan, mwen pral jwenn ou epi mwen p ap nan lemonn ankò, men yo menm yo nan lemonn. Papa, ou sen, prezève yo ak pouvwa non w genyen an, non w ou ban mwen an, pou yo kapab youn menm jan mwen menm ak ou, nou se youn. 12 Lè m te ak yo, mwen te kenbe yo ak pouvwa non w ou ban mwen an. Mwen te pwoteje yo, okenn nan yo pa t pèdi, sof sa k te fèt pou pèdi a. Sa te pase kon sa pou pwofesi Bib la te ka akonpli.
13 Kounye a mwen prale kote w, mwen di pawòl sa yo nan lemonn pou yo kapab gen lajwa m nan kè yo san mank. 14 Mwen te ba yo pawòl ou epi lemonn te rayi yo, poutèt yo pa pou lemonn ankò, menm jan mwen menm mwen pa pou lemonn.
15 Mwen pa mande w wete yo nan lemonn, men pou w pwoteje yo kont Malen an. 16 Yo pa pou lemonn, menm jan mwen menm mwen pa pou lemonn. 17 Mete yo apa pou sèvis ou nèt, grenmesi Verite a. Pawòl ou se verite a. 18 Menm jan ou te voye m nan lemonn, se kon sa mwen voye yo tou. 19 Poutèt yo, mwen mete m apa pou m sèvi ou jan w vle a. Konsa, yo menm tou, yo va mete yo apa pou yo sèvi w jan w vle a, grenmesi Verite a.
20 Mwen pa priye pou yo sèlman, mwen priye tou pou moun k ap vin kwè poutèt temwanyaj yo. 21 Papa, m ap priye pou tout moun ou ban mwen yo fè youn. Menm jan ou menm, ou nan mwen, mwen nan ou, se pou yo fè yon sèl nan nou. Konsa moun ki nan lemonn kapab kwè se ou menm ki voye m. 22 Mwen menm, mwen ba yo glwa ou te ban mwen an. Mwen ba yo l pou yo tout ka fè youn, menm jan ou menm ak mwen fè youn. 23 Mwen nan yo, menm jan ou menm ou nan mwen. Se pou yo rive fè youn nèt ale. Konsa, moun nan lemonn ka rekonèt se ou ki te voye m, epi tou ou renmen yo, menm jan ou renmen m nan.
24 Papa, mwen vle kote m ye, se la pou moun ou ban mwen yo ye avè m tou, pou yo wè glwa ou ban mwen, paske ou renmen mwen anvan lemonn te fèt. 25 Papa, ou menm ki jis, menm lè lemonn pa konnen w, mwen menm mwen konnen w, epi disip mwen sa yo rekonèt se ou menm ki voye mwen. 26 Mwen fè yo konnen ki moun ou ye, epi m p ap manke kontinye fè sa, pou lanmou ou gen pou mwen kapab nan yo, epi mwen menm mwen kapab nan yo.”

Jesus Prays to Be Glorified
17 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven(A) and prayed:
“Father, the hour has come.(B) Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.(C) 2 For you granted him authority over all people(D) that he might give eternal life(E) to all those you have given him.(F) 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you,(G) the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.(H) 4 I have brought you glory(I) on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.(J) 5 And now, Father, glorify me(K) in your presence with the glory I had with you(L) before the world began.(M)
Jesus Prays for His Disciples
6 “I have revealed you[a](N) to those whom you gave me(O) out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. 7 Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8 For I gave them the words you gave me(P) and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you,(Q) and they believed that you sent me.(R) 9 I pray for them.(S) I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me,(T) for they are yours. 10 All I have is yours, and all you have is mine.(U) And glory has come to me through them. 11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world,(V) and I am coming to you.(W) Holy Father, protect them by the power of[b] your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one(X) as we are one.(Y) 12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by[c] that name you gave me. None has been lost(Z) except the one doomed to destruction(AA) so that Scripture would be fulfilled.(AB)
13 “I am coming to you now,(AC) but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy(AD) within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them,(AE) for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.(AF) 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.(AG) 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.(AH) 17 Sanctify them by[d] the truth; your word is truth.(AI) 18 As you sent me into the world,(AJ) I have sent them into the world.(AK) 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.(AL)
Jesus Prays for All Believers
20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one,(AM) Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.(AN) May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.(AO) 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me,(AP) that they may be one as we are one(AQ)— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me(AR) and have loved them(AS) even as you have loved me.
24 “Father, I want those you have given me(AT) to be with me where I am,(AU) and to see my glory,(AV) the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.(AW)
25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you,(AX) I know you, and they know that you have sent me.(AY) 26 I have made you[e] known to them,(AZ) and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them(BA) and that I myself may be in them.”

17 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
