逾越節

16 「你們要在亞筆月[a]為你們的上帝耶和華守逾越節，因為祂在這個月的一個晚上帶領你們離開了埃及。 2 你們要在你們的上帝耶和華選定的敬拜場所，把牛羊作為逾越節的祭牲獻給祂。 3 吃祭牲的時候，不可吃有酵的餅，七天之內要吃無酵餅，即憶苦餅，以便你們一生謹記離開埃及的日子，因為當時你們離開得很倉促。 4 那七天之內，你們境內不可有酵母。第一天傍晚獻的祭肉不可留到第二天早晨。 5 在你們的上帝耶和華將要賜給你們的各城中，你們不可隨便獻逾越節的祭牲， 6 而是要在傍晚日落時分，即你們離開埃及的時候，到你們的上帝耶和華選定的敬拜場所獻逾越節的祭牲。 7 你們要在那裡煮祭肉吃，第二天早晨可以返回自己的帳篷。 8 在隨後的六天之內，你們要吃無酵餅。第七天，要舉行莊嚴的聚會，敬拜你們的上帝耶和華。那一天你們不可做工。

委任審判官

18 「要在你們的上帝耶和華將要賜給你們的各城中，按支派委任審判官及其他官員。官員們要秉公審判， 19 不可徇私枉法、偏心待人，收受賄賂，因為賄賂能蒙蔽智者的眼睛，使正直人顛倒是非。 20 你們要追求公正公義，以便可以存活，承受你們的上帝耶和華將要賜給你們的土地。

不可拜偶像

21 「在為你們的上帝耶和華建造的祭壇旁，你們不可豎立亞舍拉木神像， 22 也不可豎立神柱，因為這些是你們的上帝耶和華所憎惡的。

The Passover(A)

16 Observe the month of Aviv(B) and celebrate the Passover(C) of the Lord your God, because in the month of Aviv he brought you out of Egypt by night. 2 Sacrifice as the Passover to the Lord your God an animal from your flock or herd at the place the Lord will choose as a dwelling for his Name.(D) 3 Do not eat it with bread made with yeast, but for seven days eat unleavened bread, the bread of affliction,(E) because you left Egypt in haste(F)—so that all the days of your life you may remember the time of your departure from Egypt.(G) 4 Let no yeast be found in your possession in all your land for seven days. Do not let any of the meat you sacrifice on the evening(H) of the first day remain until morning.(I)

5 You must not sacrifice the Passover in any town the Lord your God gives you 6 except in the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name. There you must sacrifice the Passover in the evening, when the sun goes down, on the anniversary[a](J) of your departure from Egypt. 7 Roast(K) it and eat it at the place the Lord your God will choose. Then in the morning return to your tents. 8 For six days eat unleavened bread and on the seventh day hold an assembly(L) to the Lord your God and do no work.(M)

The Festival of Weeks(N)

9 Count off seven weeks(O) from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain.(P) 10 Then celebrate the Festival of Weeks to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you. 11 And rejoice(Q) before the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name(R)—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, the Levites(S) in your towns, and the foreigners,(T) the fatherless and the widows living among you.(U) 12 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt,(V) and follow carefully these decrees.

The Festival of Tabernacles(W)

13 Celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor(X) and your winepress.(Y) 14 Be joyful(Z) at your festival—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns. 15 For seven days celebrate the festival to the Lord your God at the place the Lord will choose. For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy(AA) will be complete.

16 Three times a year all your men must appear(AB) before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread,(AC) the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles.(AD) No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed:(AE) 17 Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.

Judges

18 Appoint judges(AF) and officials for each of your tribes in every town the Lord your God is giving you, and they shall judge the people fairly.(AG) 19 Do not pervert justice(AH) or show partiality.(AI) Do not accept a bribe,(AJ) for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent. 20 Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you.

Worshiping Other Gods

21 Do not set up any wooden Asherah pole(AK) beside the altar you build to the Lord your God,(AL) 22 and do not erect a sacred stone,(AM) for these the Lord your God hates.

Să nu rămână nimic până dimineaţă din animalul pe care l-aţi jertfit în seara primei zile.

5 Nu veţi putea să aduceţi jertfa de Paşte în orice cetate pe care Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, v-a dat-o, 6 ci doar dacă acea cetate este locul pe care El îl va alege pentru a-Şi aşeza Numele Lui acolo. Seara, la apusul soarelui, să aduceţi acolo jertfa de Paşte, ca să sărbătoriţi[b] ieşirea voastră din Egipt. 7 Să o fierbeţi şi să o mâncaţi în locul pe care Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, îl va alege. Iar dimineaţa să vă întoarceţi şi să vă duceţi la corturile voastre.

8 Timp de şase zile să mâncaţi azime, iar în ziua a şaptea să aveţi o adunare solemnă în cinstea Domnului, Dumnezeul vostru, şi să nu lucraţi.

Sărbătoarea Săptămânilor

9 Să număraţi şapte săptămâni; de când veţi începe seceratul grânelor să număraţi şapte săptămâni. 10 Să ţineţi Sărbătoarea Săptămânilor pentru Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, aducând cu mâinile voastre daruri de bunăvoie potrivit cu ceea ce vă va binecuvânta Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru. 11 Să vă bucuraţi înaintea Domnului, Dumnezeul vostru, în locul pe care-l va alege ca să-Şi aşeze Numele, atât voi, fiii şi fiicele voastre, slujitorii şi slujitoarele voastre, cât şi leviţii care sunt în cetăţile voastre, precum şi străinii, orfanii şi văduvele care sunt în mijlocul vostru. 12 Aduceţi-vă aminte că şi voi aţi fost sclavi în Egipt şi căutaţi să păziţi şi să împliniţi poruncile acestea.

Sărbătoarea Corturilor

13 Să ţineţi Sărbătoarea Corturilor timp de şapte zile, după ce veţi recolta din arie şi din teasc. 14 Să vă bucuraţi la această sărbătoare atât voi, fiii şi fiicele voastre, slujitorii şi slujitoarele voastre, cât şi leviţii, străinii, orfanii şi văduvele care sunt în cetăţile voastre. 15 Timp de şapte zile să ţineţi sărbătoarea în cinstea Domnului, Dumnezeul vostru, în locul pe care-l va alege El; căci Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, va binecuvânta toate veniturile voastre şi toate lucrările mâinilor voastre şi astfel veţi fi cu siguranţă bucuroşi.

16 De trei ori pe an, toţi bărbaţii să se înfăţişeze înaintea Domnului, Dumnezeul vostru, în locul pe care-l va alege El: la Sărbătoarea Azimelor, la Sărbătoarea Săptămânilor şi la Sărbătoarea Corturilor. Să nu vă înfăţişaţi cu mâinile goale înaintea Domnului. 17 Fiecare bărbat să dea după binecuvântarea pe care Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, i-a dat-o.

18 Să numiţi judecători şi dregători în toate cetăţile pe care Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, vi le dă, iar ei să judece poporul cu dreptate. 19 Să nu pervertiţi judecata: să nu fiţi părtinitori şi să nu luaţi daruri, pentru că darurile orbesc ochii înţelepţilor şi pervertesc cuvintele celor drepţi. 20 Să urmaţi cu râvnă dreptatea ca să trăiţi şi să stăpâniţi teritoriul pe care Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, vi-l dă.

Idolatria este interzisă şi pedepsită

21 Să nu plantaţi nici un copac al Aşerei[c] lângă altarul pe care îl veţi înălţa Domnului, Dumnezeul vostru, 22 şi să nu ridicaţi nici o piatră sacră care este urâtă de Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.

16 “Observe the (B)month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the Lord your God, for (C)in the month of Abib the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night. 2 Therefore you shall sacrifice the Passover to the Lord your God, from the flock and (D)the herd, in the (E)place where the Lord chooses to put His name. 3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it; (F)seven days you shall eat unleavened bread with it, that is, the bread of affliction (for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste), that you may (G)remember the day in which you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. 4 (H)And no leaven shall be seen among you in all your territory for seven days, nor shall any of the meat which you sacrifice the first day at twilight remain overnight until (I)morning.

5 “You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates which the Lord your God gives you; 6 but at the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide, there you shall sacrifice the Passover (J)at twilight, at the going down of the sun, at the time you came out of Egypt. 7 And you shall roast and eat it (K)in the place which the Lord your God chooses, and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents. 8 Six days you shall eat unleavened bread, and (L)on the seventh day there shall be a [a]sacred assembly to the Lord your God. You shall do no work on it.

The Feast of Weeks Reviewed(M)

13 (S)“You shall observe the Feast of Tabernacles seven days, when you have gathered from your threshing floor and from your winepress. 14 And (T)you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant and the Levite, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, who are within your [b]gates. 15 (U)Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord chooses, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice.

16 (V)“Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and (W)they shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed. 17 Every man shall give as he is able, (X)according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you.

Justice Must Be Administered

18 “You shall appoint (Y)judges and officers in all your [c]gates, which the Lord your God gives you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with just judgment. 19 (Z)You shall not pervert justice; (AA)you shall not [d]show partiality, (AB)nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and [e]twists the words of the righteous. 20 You shall follow what is altogether just, that you may (AC)live and inherit the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

21 (AD)“You shall not plant for yourself any tree, as a [f]wooden image, near the altar which you build for yourself to the Lord your God. 22 (AE)You shall not set up a sacred pillar, which the Lord your God hates.
