10 「那時，耶和華對我說：『你要鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣，上山到我這裏來。你也要造一個木櫃。 2 我要把你先前摔碎的版上所寫的字，寫在這版上；你要把這版放在櫃裏。』 3 於是我用金合歡木造了一個櫃子，又鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣。我手裏拿着這兩塊版上山。 4 耶和華將那大會之日、在山上從火中所吩咐你們的十條誡命，照先前所寫的寫在這版上。耶和華把它們交給我。 5 我轉身下山，將這版放在我所造的櫃裏，現今這版還在那裏，正如耶和華所吩咐我的。
6 （以色列人從比羅比尼‧亞干[a]起行，來到摩西拉，亞倫死在那裏，就葬在那裏。他的兒子以利亞撒接續他擔任祭司的職分。 7 他們從那裏起行，來到谷歌大，又從谷歌大來到約巴他，有溪水之地。 8 那時，耶和華將利未支派分別出來，抬耶和華的約櫃，又侍立在耶和華面前事奉他，奉他的名祝福，直到今日。 9 因此，利未沒有像他的弟兄有產業，耶和華是他的產業，正如耶和華—你 神所應許他的。）
10 「我又像先前一樣在山上停留了四十晝夜。這一次耶和華也應允我，不將你滅絕。 11 耶和華對我說：『起來，走在百姓前面，領他們進去得我向他們列祖起誓要給他們的地。』」
神的要求
12 「以色列啊，現在耶和華—你的 神向你要的是甚麼呢？只要你敬畏耶和華—你的 神，遵行他一切的道，愛他，盡心盡性事奉耶和華—你的 神， 13 遵守耶和華的誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，為要使你得福。 14 看哪，天和天上的天，地和地上所有的，都屬耶和華—你的 神。 15 然而，耶和華專愛你的列祖，愛他們，從萬民中揀選你們，就是他們的後裔，像今日一樣。 16 所以你們的心要受割禮，不可再硬着頸項。 17 因為耶和華—你們的 神是萬神之神，萬主之主，是偉大、強有力、可畏的 神，不看人的情面，也不受賄賂。 18 他為孤兒寡婦伸冤，愛護寄居的，賜給他衣食。 19 所以你們要愛護寄居的，因為你們在埃及地也作過寄居的。 20 你要敬畏耶和華—你的 神，事奉他，緊緊跟隨他，奉他的名起誓。 21 他是你當讚美的，是你的 神，為你做了大而可畏的事，這些是你親眼見過的。 22 你的列祖七十人下埃及，現在耶和華—你的 神卻使你如同天上的星那樣多。」

10 »En aquel tiempo el Señor me dijo: “Lábrate dos tablas de piedra como las anteriores(A), y sube a Mí al monte, y hazte un arca de madera(B). 2 Yo escribiré sobre esas tablas las palabras que estaban sobre las primeras tablas que quebraste(C), y las pondrás en el arca(D)”. 3 Hice, pues, un arca de madera de acacia(E) y labré dos tablas de piedra como las anteriores, y subí al monte con las dos tablas en mi mano(F). 4 Y Él escribió sobre las tablas, conforme a la escritura anterior, los Diez Mandamientos[a](G) que el Señor les había hablado(H) a ustedes en el monte de en medio del fuego el día de la asamblea(I); y el Señor me las dio. 5 Entonces me volví y descendí del monte(J), y puse las tablas en el arca(K) que yo había hecho; y allí están tal como el Señor me ordenó(L).
6 (Después los israelitas salieron de Beerot Bene Jaacán[b] hacia Mosera(M). Allí murió Aarón y allí fue sepultado, y su hijo Eleazar ministró como sacerdote en su lugar(N). 7 De allí salieron hacia Gudgoda; y de Gudgoda hacia Jotbata(O), una tierra de corrientes de aguas. 8 En aquel tiempo el Señor apartó la tribu de Leví(P) para que llevara el arca del pacto del Señor, y para que estuviera delante del Señor, sirviéndole y bendiciendo en Su nombre hasta el día de hoy(Q). 9 Por tanto, Leví no tiene porción o herencia con sus hermanos; el Señor es su herencia, así como el Señor tu Dios le habló(R)).
10 »Me quedé en el monte cuarenta días y cuarenta noches como la primera vez, y el Señor me escuchó también esta vez; y el Señor no quiso destruirte(S). 11 Entonces me dijo el Señor: “Levántate, continúa tu marcha al frente del pueblo, para que entren y tomen posesión de la tierra que Yo juré a sus padres que les daría”.
Lo que Dios requiere
12 »Y ahora, Israel, ¿qué requiere de ti el Señor tu Dios, sino que temas[c] al Señor tu Dios, que andes en todos Sus caminos(T), que lo ames y que sirvas al Señor tu Dios(U) con todo tu corazón y con toda tu alma(V), 13 y que guardes los mandamientos del Señor y Sus estatutos que yo te ordeno hoy para tu bien? 14 Al Señor tu Dios pertenecen los cielos y los cielos de los cielos(W), la tierra y todo lo que en ella hay(X). 15 Sin embargo, el Señor se agradó de tus padres, los amó, y escogió a su descendencia[d](Y) después de ellos, es decir, a ustedes, de entre todos los pueblos, como se ve hoy. 16 Circunciden, pues, su corazón[e](Z), y no sean más tercos(AA). 17 Porque el Señor su Dios es Dios de dioses(AB) y Señor de señores(AC), Dios grande, poderoso y temible que no hace acepción de personas(AD) ni acepta soborno(AE). 18 Él hace justicia al huérfano y a la viuda(AF), y muestra Su amor al extranjero[f] dándole pan y vestido. 19 Muestren, pues, amor al extranjero, porque ustedes fueron extranjeros en la tierra de Egipto(AG).
20 »Temerás[g] al Señor tu Dios; le servirás, te allegarás[h] a Él(AH) y solo en Su nombre jurarás(AI). 21 Él es el objeto de tu alabanza y Él es tu Dios(AJ), que ha hecho por ti estas cosas grandes y portentosas que tus ojos han visto. 22 Cuando tus padres descendieron a Egipto eran setenta personas(AK), y ahora el Señor tu Dios te ha hecho tan numeroso como las estrellas del cielo(AL).

10 En aquel tiempo Jehová me dijo: Lábrate dos tablas de piedra como las primeras, y sube a mí al monte, y hazte un arca de madera; 2 y escribiré en aquellas tablas las palabras que estaban en las primeras tablas que quebraste; y las pondrás en el arca. 3 E hice un arca de madera de acacia, y labré dos tablas de piedra como las primeras, y subí al monte con las dos tablas en mi mano. 4 Y escribió en las tablas conforme a la primera escritura, los diez mandamientos que Jehová os había hablado en el monte de en medio del fuego, el día de la asamblea; y me las dio Jehová. 5 Y volví y descendí del monte, y puse las tablas en el arca que había hecho; y allí están, como Jehová me mandó. 6 (Después salieron los hijos de Israel de Beerot-bene-jaacán[a] a Mosera; allí murió Aarón,(A) y allí fue sepultado, y en lugar suyo tuvo el sacerdocio su hijo Eleazar. 7 De allí partieron a Gudgoda, y de Gudgoda a Jotbata, tierra de arroyos de aguas. 8 En aquel tiempo apartó Jehová la tribu de Leví(B) para que llevase el arca del pacto de Jehová, para que estuviese delante de Jehová para servirle, y para bendecir en su nombre, hasta hoy, 9 por lo cual Leví no tuvo parte ni heredad con sus hermanos; Jehová es su heredad, como Jehová tu Dios le dijo.)
10 Y yo estuve en el monte como los primeros días, cuarenta días y cuarenta noches;(C) y Jehová también me escuchó esta vez, y no quiso Jehová destruirte. 11 Y me dijo Jehová: Levántate, anda, para que marches delante del pueblo, para que entren y posean la tierra que juré a sus padres que les había de dar.
Lo que Dios exige
12 Ahora, pues, Israel, ¿qué pide Jehová tu Dios de ti, sino que temas a Jehová tu Dios, que andes en todos sus caminos, y que lo ames, y sirvas a Jehová tu Dios con todo tu corazón y con toda tu alma; 13 que guardes los mandamientos de Jehová y sus estatutos, que yo te prescribo hoy, para que tengas prosperidad? 14 He aquí, de Jehová tu Dios son los cielos, y los cielos de los cielos, la tierra, y todas las cosas que hay en ella. 15 Solamente de tus padres se agradó Jehová para amarlos, y escogió su descendencia después de ellos, a vosotros, de entre todos los pueblos, como en este día. 16 Circuncidad, pues, el prepucio de vuestro corazón, y no endurezcáis más vuestra cerviz. 17 Porque Jehová vuestro Dios es Dios de dioses y Señor de señores, Dios grande, poderoso y temible, que no hace acepción de personas,(D) ni toma cohecho; 18 que hace justicia al huérfano y a la viuda; que ama también al extranjero dándole pan y vestido. 19 Amaréis, pues, al extranjero; porque extranjeros fuisteis en la tierra de Egipto. 20 A Jehová tu Dios temerás, a él solo servirás, a él seguirás, y por su nombre jurarás. 21 Él es el objeto de tu alabanza, y él es tu Dios, que ha hecho contigo estas cosas grandes y terribles que tus ojos han visto. 22 Con setenta personas(E) descendieron tus padres a Egipto, y ahora Jehová te ha hecho como las estrellas del cielo(F) en multitud.

Chapter 10
1 (A)At that time the Lord said to me, Cut two stone tablets like the first ones(B) and come up the mountain to me. Also make an ark out of wood. 2 I will write upon the tablets the words that were on the tablets that you broke, and you shall place them in the ark. 3 So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two stone tablets like the first ones, and went up the mountain with the two tablets in my hand.(C) 4 (D)The Lord then wrote on the tablets, as he had written before, the ten words[a] that the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them to me. 5 Then I turned and came down from the mountain, and placed the tablets in the ark I had made.(E) There they have remained, as the Lord commanded me.
6 (F)The Israelites set out from Beeroth Bene-jaakan for Moserah; Aaron died there and was buried. His son Eleazar succeeded him as priest.(G) 7 From there they set out for Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah for Jotbathah, a region where there is water in the wadies. 8 At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord,(H) to stand before the Lord to minister to him, and to bless in his name, as they have done to this day. 9 For this reason, Levi has no hereditary portion with his relatives;(I) the Lord himself is his portion, as the Lord, your God, promised him.
10 Meanwhile I stayed on the mountain as I did before, forty days and forty nights, and once again the Lord listened to me. The Lord was unwilling to destroy you. 11 The Lord said to me, Go now and set out at the head of the people,(J) that they may enter in and possess the land that I swore to their ancestors I would give them.
The Lord’s Majesty and Compassion. 12 (K)Now, therefore, Israel, what does the Lord, your God, ask of you but to fear the Lord, your God, to follow in all his ways, to love and serve the Lord, your God, with your whole heart and with your whole being,(L) 13 to keep the commandments and statutes of the Lord that I am commanding you today for your own well-being?(M) 14 Look, the heavens, even the highest heavens, belong to the Lord, your God, as well as the earth and everything on it.(N) 15 Yet only on your ancestors did the Lord set his heart to love them. He chose you, their descendants, from all the peoples, as it is today.(O) 16 Circumcise therefore the foreskins of your hearts,[b] and be stiff-necked no longer. 17 For the Lord, your God, is the God of gods, the Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who has no favorites, accepts no bribes,(P) 18 who executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and loves the resident alien, giving them food and clothing.(Q) 19 So you too should love the resident alien, for that is what you were in the land of Egypt.(R) 20 The Lord, your God, shall you fear, and him shall you serve; to him hold fast and by his name shall you swear.(S) 21 He is your praise; he is your God, who has done for you those great and awesome things that your own eyes have seen.(T) 22 Seventy strong your ancestors went down to Egypt,(U) and now the Lord, your God, has made you as numerous as the stars of heaven.

The “uncircumcised heart” (Lv 26:41; Jer 9:25; Ez 44:7, 9) is closed and unreceptive to God, just as “uncircumcised ears” (Jer 6:10) are closed to the word of the Lord, and “uncircumcised lips” (Ex 6:12, 30) are a hindrance to speaking on behalf of the Lord.

Tablets Like the First Ones
10 At that time the Lord said to me, “Chisel out two stone tablets(A) like the first ones and come up to me on the mountain. Also make a wooden ark.[a] 2 I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. Then you are to put them in the ark.”(B)
3 So I made the ark out of acacia wood(C) and chiseled(D) out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I went up on the mountain with the two tablets in my hands. 4 The Lord wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments(E) he had proclaimed(F) to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly.(G) And the Lord gave them to me. 5 Then I came back down the mountain(H) and put the tablets in the ark(I) I had made,(J) as the Lord commanded me, and they are there now.(K)
6 (The Israelites traveled from the wells of Bene Jaakan to Moserah.(L) There Aaron died(M) and was buried, and Eleazar(N) his son succeeded him as priest.(O) 7 From there they traveled to Gudgodah and on to Jotbathah, a land with streams of water.(P) 8 At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi(Q) to carry the ark of the covenant(R) of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister(S) and to pronounce blessings(T) in his name, as they still do today.(U) 9 That is why the Levites have no share or inheritance among their fellow Israelites; the Lord is their inheritance,(V) as the Lord your God told them.)
10 Now I had stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights, as I did the first time, and the Lord listened to me at this time also. It was not his will to destroy you.(W) 11 “Go,” the Lord said to me, “and lead the people on their way, so that they may enter and possess the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.”
Fear the Lord
12 And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you(X) but to fear(Y) the Lord your God, to walk(Z) in obedience to him, to love him,(AA) to serve the Lord(AB) your God with all your heart(AC) and with all your soul,(AD) 13 and to observe the Lord’s commands(AE) and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?(AF)
14 To the Lord your God belong the heavens,(AG) even the highest heavens,(AH) the earth and everything in it.(AI) 15 Yet the Lord set his affection on your ancestors and loved(AJ) them, and he chose you,(AK) their descendants, above all the nations—as it is today.(AL) 16 Circumcise(AM) your hearts,(AN) therefore, and do not be stiff-necked(AO) any longer. 17 For the Lord your God is God of gods(AP) and Lord of lords,(AQ) the great God, mighty and awesome,(AR) who shows no partiality(AS) and accepts no bribes.(AT) 18 He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow,(AU) and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.(AV) 19 And you are to love(AW) those who are foreigners,(AX) for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt.(AY) 20 Fear the Lord your God and serve him.(AZ) Hold fast(BA) to him and take your oaths in his name.(BB) 21 He is the one you praise;(BC) he is your God, who performed for you those great(BD) and awesome wonders(BE) you saw with your own eyes. 22 Your ancestors who went down into Egypt were seventy in all,(BF) and now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky.(BG)
