8 万军之耶和华说，祂在彰显荣耀之后要差遣我去那些掳掠你们的国家，因为谁侵害你们，就是侵害祂的瞳仁。 9 看啊，祂要挥手攻击他们，使他们被自己的奴隶掳掠。那时你们便知道是万军之耶和华差遣了我。 10 耶和华说：“锡安城[a]啊，高声欢唱吧！因为我要来住在你里面。”

8 and said to him, “Run and tell that young man: Jerusalem will remain without walls because of the great multitude of men and animals dwelling there. 9 But I will be a wall of fire all around it, says the Lord. And I will be the glory within it.”
10 Up, up! Flee from the land of the north,
says the Lord.
For I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven,
says the Lord.

8 For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who (A)touches you touches the [a]apple of His eye. 9 For surely I will (B)shake My hand against them, and they shall become [b]spoil for their servants. Then (C)you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.
10 (D)“Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I (E)will dwell in your midst,” says the Lord.
