1 我保羅同西拉和提摩太寫信給帖撒羅尼迦屬於我們父上帝和主耶穌基督的教會。
2 願我們的父上帝和主耶穌基督賜給你們恩典和平安！
感恩與勸勉
3 弟兄姊妹，我們應當為你們常常感謝上帝，這是合宜的，因為你們的信心不斷增長，彼此相愛的心也不斷增加。 4 因此，我們在上帝的眾教會中誇獎你們在各種迫害和患難中的堅忍和信心。 5 你們這種表現正是上帝公義審判的明證，使你們配進上帝的國，你們正在為這國受苦。
6 上帝是公義的，祂必以患難來報應那些迫害你們的人。 7 當主耶穌和祂大能的天使在烈焰中從天上顯現時，祂必使你們這些受苦的人和我們同得安慰， 8 懲罰那些不認識上帝、不聽從有關我們主耶穌之福音的人。 9 那些人要受的刑罰就是離開主的面和祂榮耀的權能，永遠滅亡。 10 主降臨的那日，祂要在祂的眾聖徒中得到榮耀，使所有的信徒驚歎不已。你們也會在當中，因為你們相信了我們做的見證。

3 Eh bruddas an sistas, we jus gotta tell God “Mahalo plenny!” everytime cuz a you guys. Az right we do dat, cuz you guys stay trus God plenny mo an moa, an cuz you guys stay showing mo an mo love an aloha fo each odda. 4 Dass why we talk big bout you guys to all Godʼs peopo dat come togedda fo church, all ova. We tell um how you guys hang in dea an stay trus God, no matta da odda peopo make you suffa plenny an make any kine to you guys.
5 All dis show dat God judge da right way. Az why he goin make you guys da right kine peopo, so he no shame fo say, “You my guys, an I yoa King.” You guys know how come you stay suffa now? Cuz you da Kingʼs guys, az why. 6 God goin do da right ting, you know. Da peopo dat make you guys suffa now, God goin make dem suffa bumbye. 7 Plus, God goin take away da presha, an same ting fo us guys too.
All dat goin happen bumbye, wen God let peopo see da Boss Jesus coming from up dea in da sky wit his angel guys dat get plenny power. 8 Goin get big fire, dat time. God goin punish da peopo dat donno him, an no like listen to da Good Stuff Bout Our Boss Jesus. 9 God goin punish dem, an wipe dem out to da max foeva. Dat mean, no way dey can stay wit da Boss. No way dey eva goin see da awesome kine tings he get da power fo do. 10 All dat goin happen wen our Boss Jesus come back. Dat time, everybody goin know how awesome he stay, cuz he goin stay tight wit da peopo dat stay spesho fo him. An all da peopo dat wen trus him, dey goin say, “Wow!” Same ting goin happen fo you guys, cuz you guys wen trus da stuff we wen tell you bout him.
11 Dass why us guys pray everytime fo you guys, dat dis stuff goin happen. Our God wen tell you guys awready, “Come! Be my guys!” Dass why we stay aks God fo make you guys da right kine peopo so you can do wat he like. We pray fo Godʼs power fo help you guys do all da good kine stuff you like do cuz you guys stay trus him. 12 Den, wen you guys make lidat, everybody goin say good tings bout our Boss Jesus, cuz dey goin know how awesome he stay. An cuz a him, dey goin say good tings bout you guys too. All dat goin happen cuz our God, an da Boss Jesus, Godʼs Spesho Guy, dey like do plenny fo you guys.

1 Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy,
To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2 (A)Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
God’s Final Judgment and Glory
3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, 4 so that (B)we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God (C)for your patience and faith (D)in all your persecutions and [a]tribulations that you endure, 5 which is (E)manifest[b] evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, (F)for which you also suffer; 6 (G)since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with [c]tribulation those who trouble you, 7 and to give you who are troubled (H)rest with us when (I)the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 (J)These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and (K)from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes, in that Day, (L)to be (M)glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who [d]believe, because our testimony among you was believed.
11 Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would (N)count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and (O)the work of faith with power, 12 (P)that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Neka s vama budu milost i mir od Boga, našega Oca, i Gospodina Isusa Krista.
3 Braćo i sestre, uvijek moramo zahvaljivati Bogu za vas. Tako i dolikuje jer vaša vjera sve više raste. Raste i ljubav koju imate jedni za druge. 4 Zato se mi pred drugim Božjim crkvama hvalimo vama, zbog postojanosti i vjere koju imate u svim progonstvima i nevoljama što ih podnosite. 5 Sve je to dokaz Božjega pravednog suda. On želi da se pokažete dostojnima Božjega kraljevstva—zbog kojeg sada i trpite. 6 Bog će učiniti što je pravedno. Onima koji vam stvaraju nevolje, uzvratit će nevoljama, 7 a vama će dati odmor, kao i nama. Bit će to kad se Gospodin Isus pojavi s Neba sa svojim moćnim anđelima. 8 Doći će s plamenom vatrom i kazniti one koji ne priznaju Boga i one koji se ne pokoravaju Radosnoj vijesti našega Gospodina Isusa. 9 Oni će platiti kaznu vječne propasti—bit će isključeni iz Gospodinove prisutnosti i njegove slavne moći 10 onoga dana kada pokaže svoje veličanstvo među svetima. To the church of the Thessalonians(C) in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.(D)
Thanksgiving and Prayer
3 We ought always to thank God for you,(E) brothers and sisters,[b] and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.(F) 4 Therefore, among God’s churches we boast(G) about your perseverance and faith(H) in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.(I)
5 All this is evidence(J) that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy(K) of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. 6 God is just:(L) He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you(M) 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven(N) in blazing fire(O) with his powerful angels.(P) 8 He will punish(Q) those who do not know God(R) and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.(S) 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction(T) and shut out from the presence of the Lord(U) and from the glory of his might(V) 10 on the day(W) he comes to be glorified(X) in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.(Y)
11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you,(Z) that our God may make you worthy(AA) of his calling,(AB) and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness(AC) and your every deed prompted by faith.(AD) 12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you,(AE) and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.[c]
