Judges 6:4-6

4 Then they would encamp against them and (A)destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep nor ox nor (B)donkey. 5 For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were [a]without number; and they would enter the land to destroy it. 6 So Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the children of Israel (C)cried out to the Lord.

4 They would encamp against them (A)and devour the produce of the land, as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance in Israel and no sheep or ox or donkey. 5 For they would come up with their livestock and their tents; they would come (B)like locusts in number—both they and their camels could not be counted—so that they laid waste the land as they came in. 6 And Israel was brought very low because of Midian. And the people of Israel (C)cried out for help to the Lord.

4 They camped on the land and ruined the crops(A) all the way to Gaza(B) and did not spare a living thing for Israel, neither sheep nor cattle nor donkeys. 5 They came up with their livestock and their tents like swarms of locusts.(C) It was impossible to count them or their camels;(D) they invaded the land to ravage it. 6 Midian so impoverished the Israelites that they cried out(E) to the Lord for help.
