At sa mga anak ni Issachar; si Thola, at si Phua, si Jabsub, at si Simron, apat.

At sa mga anak ni Thola: si Uzzi, at si Rephaias, at si Jeriel, at si Jamai, at si Jibsam, at si Samuel, mga pangulo sa mga sangbahayan ng kanilang mga magulang, sa makatuwid baga'y ni Thola; mga makapangyarihang lalaking may tapang sa kanilang mga lahi: (A)ang kanilang bilang sa mga kaarawan ni David ay dalawang pu't dalawang libo at anim na raan.

At ang mga anak ni Uzzi: si Izrahias: at ang mga anak ni Izrahias: si Michael, at si Obadias, at si Joel, si Isias, lima: silang lahat ay mga pinuno.

At sa kasamahan nila, ayon sa kanilang mga lahi, ayon sa mga sangbahayan ng kanilang mga magulang, may mga pulutong ng hukbo sa pakikipagdigma, tatlong pu't anim na libo: sapagka't sila'y nagkaroon ng maraming asawa at mga anak.

At ang kanilang mga kapatid sa lahat na angkan ni Issachar, na mga makapangyarihang lalaking may tapang, na nangabilang silang lahat, ayon sa talaan ng lahi, ay walong pu't pitong libo.

Ang mga anak ni Benjamin.

Ang mga anak ni Benjamin: si Bela, at si Becher, at si Jediael, tatlo.

At ang mga anak ni Bela: si Esbon, at si Uzzi, at si Uzziel, at si Jerimoth, at si Iri, lima; mga pangulo sa mga sangbahayan ng mga magulang, mga makapangyarihang lalaking may tapang; at sila'y nangabilang ayon sa talaan ng lahi, ay dalawang pu't dalawang libo at tatlong pu't apat.

At ang mga anak ni Becher: si Zemira, at si Joas, at si Eliezer, at si Elioenai, at si Omri, at si Jerimoth, at si Abias, at si Anathoth, at si Alemeth. Lahat ng ito'y mga anak ni Becher.

At sila'y nangabilang ayon sa talaan ng lahi, ayon sa kanilang lahi, na mga pangulo sa mga sangbahayan ng kanilang mga magulang, na mga makapangyarihang lalaking may tapang, dalawang pung libo at dalawang daan.

10 At ang mga anak ni Jediael: si Bilhan: at ang mga anak ni Bilhan: si Jebus, at si Benjamin, at si Aod, at si Chenaana, at si Zethan, at si Tharsis, at si Ahisahar.

11 Lahat ng ito'y mga anak ni Jediael, ayon sa mga pangulo ng mga sangbahayan ng kanilang mga magulang, na mga makapangyarihang lalaking may tapang labing pitong libo at dalawang daan na nakalalabas sa hukbo upang makidigma.

12 Si Suppim rin naman, at si Huppim na mga anak ni Hir, si Husim na mga anak ni Aher.

Ang mga anak ni Nephtali.

13 Ang mga anak ni Nephtali: si Jaoel, at si Guni, at si Jezer, at si Sallum, na mga anak ni Bilha.

Ang mga anak ni Manases.

14 Ang mga (B)anak ni Manases: si Asriel, na siyang ipinanganak ng kaniyang babae na Aramita; ipinanganak niya si Machir na ama ni Galaad.

15 At si Machir ay nagasawa kay Huppim at kay Suppim, na ang pangalan ng kapatid na babae nila ay Maacha; at ang pangalan ng ikalawa ay Salphaad: at si Salphaad ay nagkaanak ng mga babae.

16 At si Maacha na asawa ni Machir ay nanganak ng isang lalake, at tinawag niya ang kaniyang pangalan na Peres; at ang pangalan ng kaniyang kapatid ay Seres; at ang kaniyang mga anak ay si Ulam at si Recem.

17 At ang mga anak ni Ulam; si Bedan. Ito ang mga anak ni Galaad na anak ni Machir, na anak ni Manases.

18 At ipinanganak ng kaniyang kapatid na babae na si Molechet si Ichod, at si Abiezer, at si Mahala.

19 At ang mga anak ni Semida ay si Ahian, at si Sechem at si Licci, at si Aniam.

Ang mga anak ni Ephraim.

20 At ang mga anak ni Ephraim: si Suthela, at si Bered na kaniyang anak, at si Thahath na kaniyang anak, at si Elada na kaniyang anak, at si Thahath na kaniyang anak.

21 At si Zabad na kaniyang anak, at si Suthela na kaniyang anak, at si Ezer, at si Elad, na siyang mga pinatay ng mga lalake ng Gath na mga ipinanganak sa lupain, sapagka't sila'y nagsilusong upang kunin ang kanilang mga hayop.

22 At si Ephraim na kanilang ama ay tumangis na maraming araw, at ang kaniyang mga kapatid ay nagsiparoon upang aliwin siya.

23 At siya'y sumiping sa kaniyang asawa, at siya'y naglihi, at nagkaanak ng isang lalake, at tinawag niya ang kaniyang pangalan na Beria, sapagka't sumakaniyang bahay ang kasamaan.

24 At ang kaniyang anak na babae ay si Seera, na siyang nagtayo ng Bet-horon sa ibaba at sa itaas, at ng Uzzen-seera.

25 At naging anak niya si Repha, at si Reseph, at si Thela na kaniyang anak, at si Taan na kaniyang anak;

26 Si Laadan na kaniyang anak, si Ammiud na kaniyang anak, si Elisama na kaniyang anak;

27 (C)Si Nun na kaniyang anak, si Josue na kaniyang anak.

28 At ang kanilang mga pagaari at mga tahanan ay ang Beth-el at ang mga nayon niyaon, at ang dakong silanganan ng Naaran, at ang dakong kalunuran ng Gezer pati ng mga nayon niyaon; ang Sichem rin naman at ang mga nayon niyaon, hanggang sa Asa at ang mga nayon niyaon:

29 At sa siping ng mga hangganan ng mga anak ni Manases, ang Beth-sean at ang mga nayon niyaon, ang Thanach at ang mga nayon niyaon, ang Megiddo at ang mga nayon niyaon, ang Dor at ang mga nayon niyaon. Sa mga ito nagsitahan ang mga anak ni Jose na anak ni Israel.

Ang mga anak ni Aser.

30 Ang mga anak ni Aser: si Imna, at si Isua, at si Isui, at si Beria, at si Sera na kanilang kapatid na babae.

31 At ang mga anak ni Beria: si Heber, at si Machiel na siyang ama ni Birzabith.

32 At naging anak ni Heber si Japhlet, at si Semer, at si Hotham, at si Sua na kapatid na babae nila.

33 At ang mga anak ni Japhlet si Pasac, at si Bimhal, at si Asvath. Ang mga ito ang mga anak ni Japhlet.

34 At ang mga anak ni Semer, si Ahi, at si Roga, si Jehubba, at si Aram.

35 At ang mga anak ni Helem na kaniyang kapatid: si Sopha, at si Imna, at si Selles, at si Amal.

36 Ang mga anak ni Sopha: si Sua, at si Harnapher, at si Sual, at si Beri; at si Imra:

37 Si Beser, at si Hod, at si Samma, at si Silsa, at si Ithram, at si Beera.

39 At ang mga anak ni Ulla: si Ara, at si Haniel, at si Resia.

The Family of Issachar(A)

The sons of Issachar were (B)Tola, [a]Puah, [b]Jashub, and Shimron—four in all. The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their father’s house. The sons of Tola were mighty men of valor in their generations; (C)their number in the days of David was twenty-two thousand six hundred. The son of Uzzi was Izrahiah, and the sons of Izrahiah were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Ishiah. All five of them were chief men. And with them, by their generations, according to their fathers’ houses, were thirty-six thousand troops ready for war; for they had many wives and sons.

Now their brethren among all the families of Issachar were mighty men of valor, listed by their genealogies, eighty-seven thousand in all.

The Family of Benjamin(D)

The sons of (E)Benjamin were Bela, Becher, and Jediael—three in all. The sons of Bela were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri—five in all. They were heads of their fathers’ houses, and they were listed by their genealogies, twenty-two thousand and thirty-four mighty men of valor.

The sons of Becher were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jerimoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these are the sons of Becher. And they were recorded by genealogy according to their generations, heads of their fathers’ houses, twenty thousand two hundred mighty men of valor. 10 The son of Jediael was Bilhan, and the sons of Bilhan were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tharshish, and Ahishahar.

11 All these sons of Jediael were heads of their fathers’ houses; there were seventeen thousand two hundred mighty men of valor fit to go out for war and battle. 12 [c]Shuppim and [d]Huppim were the sons of [e]Ir, and Hushim was the son of [f]Aher.

The Family of Naphtali(F)

13 The (G)sons of Naphtali were [g]Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and [h]Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

The Family of Manasseh (West)

14 The (H)descendants of Manasseh: his Syrian concubine bore him (I)Machir the father of Gilead, the father of Asriel. 15 Machir took as his wife the sister of [i]Huppim and [j]Shuppim, whose name was Maachah. The name of Gilead’s [k]grandson was (J)Zelophehad, but Zelophehad begot only daughters. 16 (Maachah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh. The name of his brother was Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem. 17 The son of Ulam was (K)Bedan.) These were the descendants of Gilead the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

18 His sister Hammoleketh bore Ishhod, [l]Abiezer, and Mahlah.

19 And the sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.

The Family of Ephraim

20 (L)The sons of Ephraim were Shuthelah, Bered his son, Tahath his son, Eladah his son, Tahath his son, 21 Zabad his son, Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead. The men of Gath who were born in that land killed them because they came down to take away their cattle. 22 Then Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

23 And when he went in to his wife, she conceived and bore a son; and he called his name [m]Beriah, because tragedy had come upon his house. 24 Now his daughter was Sheerah, who built Lower and Upper (M)Beth Horon and Uzzen Sheerah; 25 and Rephah was his son, as well as Resheph, and Telah his son, Tahan his son, 26 Laadan his son, Ammihud his son, (N)Elishama his son, 27 [n]Nun his son, and (O)Joshua his son.

28 Now their (P)possessions and dwelling places were Bethel and its towns: to the east [o]Naaran, to the west Gezer and its towns, and Shechem and its towns, as far as [p]Ayyah and its towns; 29 and by the borders of the children of (Q)Manasseh were Beth Shean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, (R)Megiddo and its towns, Dor and its towns. In these dwelt the children of Joseph, the son of Israel.

The Family of Asher(S)

30 (T)The sons of Asher were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and their sister Serah. 31 The sons of Beriah were Heber and Malchiel, who was the father of [q]Birzaith. 32 And Heber begot Japhlet, [r]Shomer, [s]Hotham, and their sister Shua. 33 The sons of Japhlet were Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath. These were the children of Japhlet. 34 The sons of (U)Shemer were Ahi, Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram. 35 And the sons of his brother Helem were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal. 36 The sons of Zophah were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah, 37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, [t]Jithran, and Beera. 38 The sons of Jether were Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara. 39 The sons of Ulla were Arah, Haniel, and Rizia.

40 All these were the children of Asher, heads of their fathers’ houses, choice men, mighty men of valor, chief leaders. And they were recorded by genealogies among the army fit for battle; their number was twenty-six thousand.

Descendants of Issachar

The sons[a] of Issachar: Tola, (A)Puah, (B)Jashub, and Shimron, four. The sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their fathers' houses, namely of Tola, mighty warriors of their generations, their number (C)in the days of David being 22,600. The son[b] of Uzzi: Izrahiah. And the sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah, all five of them were chief men. And along with them, by their generations, according to their fathers' houses, were units of the army for war, 36,000, for they had many wives and sons. Their kinsmen belonging to all the clans of Issachar were in all 87,000 mighty warriors, enrolled by genealogy.

Descendants of Benjamin

(D)The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, and Jediael, three. The sons of Bela: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri, five, heads of fathers' houses, mighty warriors. And their enrollment by genealogies was 22,034. The sons of Becher: Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, (E)Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Becher. And their enrollment by genealogies, according to their generations, as heads of their fathers' houses, mighty warriors, was 20,200. 10 The son of Jediael: Bilhan. And the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar. 11 All these were the sons of Jediael according to the heads of their fathers' houses, mighty warriors, 17,200, able to go to war. 12 And Shuppim and Huppim were the sons of Ir, Hushim the son of (F)Aher.

Descendants of Naphtali

Descendants of Manasseh

Descendants of Asher

And their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies eighty-seven thousand.

The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, and Jediael, three.

The sons of Bela: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri, five, heads of the houses of their fathers, mighty men of valour; and were reckoned by their genealogies twenty-two thousand and thirty-four.

The sons of Becher: Zemira, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jerimoth, Abiah, Anathoth, and Alameth. All these are the sons of Becher.

And the number of them, after their genealogy by their generations, heads of the houses of their fathers, mighty men of valour, was twenty thousand two hundred.

11 All these were sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, seventeen thousand two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.

12 And Shuppim and Huppim were sons of Ir; and Hushim, the son of Aher.

13 The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

14 The sons of Manasseh: Ashriel, whom his concubine, the Aramitess, gave birth unto him; she also gave birth to Machir, the father of Gilead.

15 And Machir took wives of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister’s name was Maachah, and the name of the second was Zelophehad. And Zelophehad had daughters.

16 And Maachah, the wife of Machir, gave birth to a son unto him, and she called his name Peresh, and the name of his brother was Sheresh, whose sons were Ulam and Rakem.

17 The son of Ulam was Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

18 And his sister Hammoleketh gave birth to Ishod, Abiezer, and Mahalah.

19 And the sons of Shemida were, Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.

20 ¶ The sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, Bered, his son, Tahath his son, Eladah, his son, Tahath, his son,

21 Zabad, his son, Shuthelah, his son, Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in that land slew because they came down to take away their livestock.

22 And Ephraim, their father, mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

23 And when he went in to his wife, she conceived and gave birth to a son, and he called his name Beriah, because he had been in affliction in his house.

24 (And his daughter was Sherah, who built Bethhoron, the lower and the upper, and Uzzensherah.)

25 And Rephah was his son, also Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan, his son,

26 Laadan, his son, Ammihud, his son, Elishama, his son,

27 Nun, his son, Joshua, his son.

28 And their inheritance and habitation was Bethel with its towns, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer with its towns; likewise Shechem and its towns unto Gaza and its towns,

29 and by the side of the sons of Manasseh, Bethshean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In these dwelt the sons of Joseph, the son of Israel.

30 The sons of Asher: Imnah, Isuah, Ishuai, Beriah, and Serah, their sister.

31 And the sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzavith.

32 And Heber begat Japhlet, Shomer, Hotham, and Shua their sister.

33 The sons of Japhlet: Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath. These were the sons of Japhlet.

34 And the sons of Shamer: Ahi, Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.

35 The sons of his brother Helem: Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.

36 The sons of Zophah: Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,

37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran, and Beera.

38 The sons of Jether: Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.

40 All these were sons of Asher, heads of their father’s houses, chosen, mighty men of valour, heads of princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of those that were apt for war and for battle was twenty-six thousand men.

Issachar

The sons of Issachar:(A)

Tola, Puah,(B) Jashub and Shimron—four in all.

The sons of Tola:

Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam and Samuel—heads of their families. During the reign of David, the descendants of Tola listed as fighting men in their genealogy numbered 22,600.

The son of Uzzi:

Izrahiah.

The sons of Izrahiah:

Michael, Obadiah, Joel and Ishiah. All five of them were chiefs. According to their family genealogy, they had 36,000 men ready for battle, for they had many wives and children.

The relatives who were fighting men belonging to all the clans of Issachar, as listed in their genealogy, were 87,000 in all.

Benjamin

Three sons of Benjamin:(C)

Bela, Beker and Jediael.

The sons of Bela:

Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth and Iri, heads of families—five in all. Their genealogical record listed 22,034 fighting men.

The sons of Beker:

Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Beker. Their genealogical record listed the heads of families and 20,200 fighting men.

10 The son of Jediael:

Bilhan.

The sons of Bilhan:

Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish and Ahishahar. 11 All these sons of Jediael were heads of families. There were 17,200 fighting men ready to go out to war.

12 The Shuppites and Huppites were the descendants of Ir, and the Hushites[a] the descendants of Aher.

Naphtali

13 The sons of Naphtali:(D)

Jahziel, Guni, Jezer and Shillem[b]—the descendants of Bilhah.

Manasseh

14 The descendants of Manasseh:(E)

Asriel was his descendant through his Aramean concubine. She gave birth to Makir the father of Gilead.(F) 15 Makir took a wife from among the Huppites and Shuppites. His sister’s name was Maakah.

Another descendant was named Zelophehad,(G) who had only daughters.

16 Makir’s wife Maakah gave birth to a son and named him Peresh. His brother was named Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

17 The son of Ulam:

Bedan.

These were the sons of Gilead(H) son of Makir, the son of Manasseh. 18 His sister Hammoleketh gave birth to Ishhod, Abiezer(I) and Mahlah.

19 The sons of Shemida(J) were:

Ahian, Shechem, Likhi and Aniam.

Ephraim

20 The descendants of Ephraim:(K)

Shuthelah, Bered his son,

Tahath his son, Eleadah his son,

Tahath his son, 21 Zabad his son

and Shuthelah his son.

Ezer and Elead were killed by the native-born men of Gath, when they went down to seize their livestock. 22 Their father Ephraim mourned for them many days, and his relatives came to comfort him. 23 Then he made love to his wife again, and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. He named him Beriah,[c] because there had been misfortune in his family. 24 His daughter was Sheerah, who built Lower and Upper Beth Horon(L) as well as Uzzen Sheerah.

25 Rephah was his son, Resheph his son,[d]

Telah his son, Tahan his son,

26 Ladan his son, Ammihud his son,

Elishama his son, 27 Nun his son

and Joshua his son.

28 Their lands and settlements included Bethel and its surrounding villages, Naaran to the east, Gezer(M) and its villages to the west, and Shechem and its villages all the way to Ayyah and its villages. 29 Along the borders of Manasseh were Beth Shan,(N) Taanach, Megiddo and Dor,(O) together with their villages. The descendants of Joseph son of Israel lived in these towns.

Asher

30 The sons of Asher:(P)

Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi and Beriah. Their sister was Serah.

31 The sons of Beriah:

Heber and Malkiel, who was the father of Birzaith.

32 Heber was the father of Japhlet, Shomer and Hotham and of their sister Shua.

33 The sons of Japhlet:

Pasak, Bimhal and Ashvath.

These were Japhlet’s sons.

34 The sons of Shomer:

Ahi, Rohgah,[e] Hubbah and Aram.

35 The sons of his brother Helem:

Zophah, Imna, Shelesh and Amal.

36 The sons of Zophah:

Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah, 37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran[f] and Beera.

38 The sons of Jether:

Jephunneh, Pispah and Ara.

39 The sons of Ulla:

Arah, Hanniel and Rizia.

40 All these were descendants of Asher—heads of families, choice men, brave warriors and outstanding leaders. The number of men ready for battle, as listed in their genealogy, was 26,000.
