7 And his kinsmen by their clans, (A)when the genealogy of their generations was recorded: the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah, 8 and Bela the son of Azaz, son of (B)Shema, son of Joel, who lived in (C)Aroer, as far as (D)Nebo and (E)Baal-meon. 9 He also lived to the east as far as the entrance of the desert this side of the Euphrates, because their livestock had multiplied (F)in the land of Gilead.

7 Their relatives by clans,(A) listed according to their genealogical records:
Jeiel the chief, Zechariah, 8 and Bela son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel. They settled in the area from Aroer(B) to Nebo(C) and Baal Meon.(D) 9 To the east they occupied the land up to the edge of the desert that extends to the Euphrates(E) River, because their livestock had increased in Gilead.(F)

7 And his brethren by their families, when the genealogy of their generations was reckoned, were the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah,
8 And Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, even unto Nebo and Baalmeon:
9 And eastward he inhabited unto the entering in of the wilderness from the river Euphrates: because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
