⁹人民因這些人自願奉獻而歡喜，因為他們一心樂意奉獻給耶和華，大衛王也非常歡喜。

大衛稱頌耶和華

¹⁰所以大衛在全體會眾面前稱頌耶和華，說：“耶和華我們的祖先以色列的　神，是應當稱頌的，從亙古直到永遠。 ¹¹耶和華啊，尊大、能力、榮耀、勝利和威嚴，都是你的；因為天上地下的萬有都是你的；耶和華啊，國度是你的，你是至高的，是萬有之首。

1 Chronicles 29:9-11

New International Version

⁹The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly^(A) to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

David’s Prayer

¹⁰David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly, saying,

“Praise be to you, Lord,
    the God of our father Israel,
    from everlasting to everlasting.
¹¹Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power^(B)
    and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
    for everything in heaven and earth is yours.^(C)
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
    you are exalted as head over all.^(D)
