16 众人将上帝的约柜抬进去，安放在大卫所搭的帐篷里，然后在上帝面前献上燔祭和平安祭。 2 大卫献上燔祭和平安祭后，就奉耶和华的名给民众祝福， 3 又给以色列男女每人一个饼、一块肉和一个葡萄饼。
4 大卫指派一些利未人在耶和华的约柜前事奉，颂扬、称谢和赞美以色列的上帝耶和华。 5 为首的是亚萨，其次是撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、玛他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄别·以东和耶利，他们鼓瑟弹琴，亚萨敲钹。 6 比拿雅和雅哈悉两位祭司在上帝的约柜前吹号。
大卫的颂歌

述说祂一切奇妙的作为。

11 要寻求耶和华和祂的能力，
时常来到祂面前。
12-13 祂仆人以色列的后裔啊，
祂所拣选的雅各的子孙啊，
要记住祂所行的神迹奇事和祂口中的判词。
14 “祂是我们的上帝耶和华，
祂在普天下施行审判。
15 你们要永远铭记祂的约，
要思想祂的应许直到千代，
16 就是祂与亚伯拉罕所立的约，

26 列邦的神明都是假的，
唯独耶和华创造了诸天。
27 祂尊贵威严，
祂的圣所充满能力和喜乐。
28 “万族万民啊，
要把荣耀和能力归给耶和华，
归给耶和华！
29 要将耶和华当得的荣耀归给祂，
要将供物献给祂，
要穿上圣洁的衣服敬拜祂。
30 普天下要在祂面前战抖；
祂坚立世界，使它不致摇动。
31 愿天欢喜，愿地快乐；
愿他们向列国宣告，
‘耶和华是王！’
32 愿海洋和其中的万物都欢呼，
愿田野和其中的一切都欢腾！
33 那时，林中的树木都要在耶和华面前欢唱，
因为祂要来审判天下。
34 要称谢耶和华，
因为祂是美善的，
祂的慈爱永远长存！
35 “要说，‘拯救我们的上帝啊，
求你救我们，招聚我们，
从列国把我们救出来，
我们好称谢你的圣名，
以赞美你为荣。’
36 从亘古到永远，
以色列的上帝耶和华当受称颂！”
众民都说：“阿们”，
并赞美耶和华。
分派事奉的人员
37 大卫派亚萨及其亲族天天在约柜前事奉耶和华，尽当尽的职分； 38 又派俄别·以东及其六十八位亲族、何萨和耶杜顿的儿子俄别·以东守门； 39 并派祭司撒督及其他祭司在基遍高地的耶和华的圣幕前供职， 40 按照耶和华在律法书上对以色列人的吩咐，每日早晚在祭坛上献燔祭给耶和华。 41 与他们一同供职的有希幔、耶杜顿和其他人，他们被特别选出来称谢上帝，因为祂有永恒的慈爱。 42 希幔和耶杜顿负责用号、钹及其他乐器伴奏歌颂上帝。耶杜顿的子孙负责守门。 43 于是，众民各自回家，大卫也回去为家人祝福。

16 Така внесоха Божия ковчег та го положиха всред шатъра, който Давид беше поставил за него; и принесоха всеизгаряния и примирителни приноси пред Бога.
2 И когато Давид свърши принасянето на всеизгарянията и примирителните приноси, благослови людете в Господното име.
3 И даде на всеки човек, мъж и жена, от Израиля, на всекиго по един хляб, по една мръвка месо и по една низаница сухо грозде.
4 И определи известни левити, да служат пред Господния ковчег, да възпоменават, да благодарят и да хвалят Господ Израилевия Бог:
5 първият, Асаф; вторият, Захария; после, Еиил, Семирамот, Ехиил, Мататия, Елиав, Ванаия, Овид-едом и Еиил с псалтири и арфи; Асаф с дрънкане на кимвали;
6 а свещениците Ванаия и Яазиил с тръби, винаги пред ковчега на Божия завет.
7 Тогава, в оня ден, Давид за пръв път нареди славославенето на Господа чрез Асафа и братята му, с тия думи : -
8 Славословете Господа: призовавайте името Му, Възвестявайте между народите делата Му.
9 Пейте Му, и псалмопейте Му; Говорете за всичките Му чудни дела.
10 Хвалете Го с неговото Свето име; Нека се весели сърцето на ония, които търсят Господа.
11 Търсете Господа и Неговата сила. Търсете лицето Му винаги.
12 Помнете пречудните дела, които е извършил. Знаменията Му и съдбите на устата Му.

39 и свещеника Садок и братята му свещениците, пред Господната скиния на високото място, което бе в Гаваон,
40 за да принасят всеизгаряне Господу върху олтара за всеизгарянията винаги заран и вечер, точно според както е писано в закона, който Господ даде на Израиля;
41 и са тях постави Емана, Едутуна, и другите по име определени, които бяха избрани да славословят Господа, защото неговата милост е до века;
42 и при тях, то ест, при Емана и Едутуна, имаше тръби и кимвали за ония, които трябваше да свирят с висок глас, и инструменти за Божиите песни. А Едутуновите синове бяха вратари.

Chapter 16
1 They brought the Ark of God and placed it inside of the tent that David had pitched for it. They offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God. 2 When David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord. 3 He gave each man and each woman in Israel one loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins.
The Levite Ministers. 4 He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the Ark of the Lord, to commemorate, to thank, and to praise the Lord, the God of Israel. 5 They were Asaph, the leader, Zechariah, the next in charge, and Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-edom. They were to play upon the lyres and the harps while Asaph was to play upon the cymbals. 6 Benaiah and Jahaziel were the priests who normally blew the trumpets before the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord.[a]
7 On that day David first gave Asaph and his brethren this psalm of thanks to the Lord:
8 [b]Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name;
make his deeds known among the nations.
9 Sing to him, praise him with song;
speak of all his wondrous deeds.
10 Glory in his holy name,
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
11 Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually.
12 Remember the marvels he has done,
his wondrous deeds and the judgments of his mouth.
13 O descendants of Israel, his servant,
O children of Jacob, his chosen one.
14 He is the Lord, our God,
his judgments extend to all the earth.
15 He always remembers his covenant,
the word he has commanded for a thousand generations,
16 which he made with Abraham,
the oath he swore to Isaac.
17 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree,
to Israel as an eternal covenant,
18 saying, “I will give you the land of Canaan;
it will be your allotted inheritance.”
19 When there were only a few of them,
few indeed, with foreigners among them,
20 they wandered from nation to nation,
from one kingdom to another people.
21 He did not let anyone oppress them,
for their sake he rebuked kings,
22 “Do not touch my anointed;
do no harm to my prophets.”
23 Sing to the Lord, all the earth,
proclaim his salvation from day to day.
24 Declare his glory among the nations,
among all nations, his marvelous deeds.
25 For great is the Lord, greatly to be praised;
he is to be feared more than all the other gods.
26 All the gods of the nations are idols,
but the Lord made the heavens.
27 Glory and honor are before him,
strength and joy in his dwelling place.
28 Give to the Lord, O families of nations,
give to the Lord glory and strength.
29 Give to the Lord the glory due his name.
Bring an offering and come before him;
worship the Lord in holy attire.
30 Tremble before him, all the earth;
the world is firmly established, not to be moved.
31 Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice;
let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.”
32 Let the sea roar, and whatever fills it;
let the fields rejoice, and all that is in them.
33 The trees of the forest will sing out before the Lord,
for he comes to judge the earth.
34 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his mercy endures forever.
35 Shout forth, “Save us, O Lord, our savior;
gather us in and deliver us from the nations.
Then we will give thanks to your holy name,
we will glory in your praise.”
36 Praise the Lord, the God of Israel,
forever and ever.
All the people said, “Amen! Praise the Lord!”
37 He left Asaph and his brethren there before the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord to minister before the Ark and to do each day’s required work. 38 He also left Obed-edom and sixty-eight of his brethren with them. Obed-edom, the son of Jeduthun, and Hosah were the gatekeepers.
39 He also left Zadok, the priest, and his fellow priests before the tabernacle of the Lord at the high place in Gibeon. 40 He was to offer the regular burnt offerings upon the altar of burnt offerings, each morning and each evening, just as it is written in the law of the Lord which he gave to Israel. 41 With him there were Heman and Jeduthun and the others who had been chosen, who had been designated by name to give thanks to the Lord, for his mercy endures forever. 42 Heman and Jeduthun were responsible for playing the trumpets and the cymbals as well as the other sacred musical instruments. The sons of Jeduthun were gatekeepers.
43 Then all the people departed, each returning home. David, too, went home to bless his household.
