Paul’s Ministry to the Gentiles
3 For this reason I, Paul, am the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles.
2 You may have heard of the administration of the grace of God which was given me for you, 3 how by revelation He made known to me the mystery, as I have written briefly already, 4 by which, when you read it, you may understand my knowledge of the mystery of Christ, 5 which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit, 6 how the Gentiles are fellow heirs, and fellow members, and partakers of the promise in Christ by the gospel.
7 Of this I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. 8 To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the incomprehensible riches of Christ, 9 and to reveal for all people what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ, 10 so that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, 11 according to the eternal purpose which He completed in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him. 13 Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
To Know the Love of Christ
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would give you, according to the riches of His glory, power to be strengthened by His Spirit in the inner man, 17 and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, 19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

3 This is the reason that I, Paul, am a prisoner for[a] Christ Jesus[b] for the sake of you gentiles, 2 for surely[c] you have already heard of the commission of God’s grace that was given me for you 3 and how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I wrote above in a few words,[d](A) 4 a reading of which will enable you to perceive my understanding of the mystery of Christ.(B) 5 In former generations this mystery[e] was not made known to humankind, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit:(C) 6 that is, the gentiles have become fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.(D)
7 Of this gospel I have become a servant according to the gift of God’s grace that was given me by the working of his power. 8 Although I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given to me to bring to the gentiles the news of the boundless riches of Christ(E) 9 and to make everyone see[f] what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in[g] God, who created all things,(F) 10 so that through the church the wisdom of God in its rich variety might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.[h](G) 11 This was in accordance with the eternal purpose that he has carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have access in boldness and confidence through faith in him.[i](H) 13 I pray, therefore, that you[j] may not lose heart over my sufferings for you; they are your glory.

14 Kaya't nakaluhod akong nananalangin sa Ama,[a] 15 na siyang pinagmumulan ng pangalan ng bawat sambahayan sa langit at sa lupa. 16 Dalangin ko ayon sa kayamanan ng kanyang kaluwalhatian na pagkalooban kayo ng kapangyarihan upang lumakas ang inyong panloob na pagkatao sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Espiritu, 17 at upang manirahan sa inyong mga puso si Cristo sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya, habang kayo'y nag-uugat at tumitibay sa pag-ibig. 18 Dalangin ko na makaya ninyong arukin, kasama ng lahat ng mga banal, ang luwang, haba, taas, at lalim, 19 at lubos na maunawaan ang pag-ibig ni Cristo, nang higit sa kayang abutin ng kaalaman, upang kayo'y mapuno ng lubos na kapuspusan ng Diyos. 20 Ngayon, sa kanya na may kapangyarihang gumawa ng higit pa at lalong sagana kaysa lahat ng ating hinihingi o iniisip, ayon sa kapangyarihang kumikilos sa atin, 21 sumakanya nawa ang kaluwalhatian sa pamamagitan ng iglesya at kay Cristo Jesus sa lahat ng salinlahi, magpakailanpaman.
