2 数日後、イエスはカペナウムに戻られました。すると、イエス来訪のニュースはたちまち町中に伝わり、 2 人々が大ぜい集まって来ました。家は足の踏み場もないほどで、外まで人があふれています。その人たちに、イエスは神の教えを語られました。 3 その時、四人の人が、中風（脳出血などによる半身不随、手足のまひ等の症状）の男をかついで運んで来ました。 4 しかしあまりの人に、群衆をかき分けて中へ入ることもできません。そこで、屋根にのぼり、穴をあけると、そこから病人を寝床のまま、イエスの前へつり降ろしました。 5 必ず治してもらえると、堅く信じて疑わない彼らの信仰をごらんになって、イエスは中風の男に、「あなたの罪は赦されました」と言われました。
6 ところが、その場にいた何人かのユダヤ人の宗教的指導者たちの心中は、おだやかではありませんでした。 7 「なんだと！ 今のは神を汚すことばだ。いったい自分をだれだと思っているのか。罪を赦すなんて、神にしかできないことなのに。」
8 イエスはすぐに、彼らが心の中で理屈をこねているのを見抜かれました。「どうして、そう思うのですか。 9-11 この人に、『あなたの罪が赦されました』と言うのと、『起きて歩きなさい』と言うのと、どちらがやさしいですか。さあ、メシヤ（ヘブル語で、救い主）のわたしが罪を赦したという証拠を見せてあげましょう。」イエスは中風の男のほうに向き直り、「あなたはもうよくなりました。床をたたんで、家に帰りなさい」と言われました。
12 すると男は飛び起き、寝床をかかえ、あっけにとられている見物人を押し分けて、出て行ってしまいました。「こんなことは、見たこともない！」人々は口々に叫び、心から神を賛美しました。
13 イエスはまた湖畔に行き、集まって来た群衆にお教えになりました。 14 岸辺を歩いておられると、税金取立て所にアルパヨの子レビ（マタイ）が座っていました。「ついて来て、わたしの弟子になりなさい。」イエスの呼びかけに、レビはさっと立ち上がり、あとに従いました。
15 その夜、レビはイエスを夕食に招待しました。その席には、取税人仲間や、評判の悪い人たちも多く招かれていました。イエスに従う者には、こういう人々も多かったのです。 16 これを見たパリサイ派（特に律法を守ることに熱心なユダヤ教の一派）の律法学者は、弟子たちに詰め寄りました。「おまえたちの先生は、どうして、こんなどうしようもない連中といっしょに食事をするのか。」 17 彼らの非難に、イエスはこうお答えになりました。「丈夫な者に医者はいりません。病人こそ医者が必要なのです。わたしは、自分を正しいと思っている人たちのためにではなく、罪人を神に立ち返らせるために来たのです。」
パリサイ人の非難
18 バプテスマのヨハネの弟子やパリサイ人たちは、断食のおきてを守っていました。ある時、彼らが来て、「どうして先生のお弟子さんたちは断食しないのですか」と問いただしました。 19 イエスは、こうお答えになりました。「花婿の友人は、披露宴の席で、ごちそうに手をつけなかったり、嘆き悲しんだりはしません。 20 しかし、やがて花婿が彼らから引き離される日が来ます。その時には断食するのです。 21 こう言えばわかるでしょう。水洗いしていない新しい布で、古い着物の継ぎ当てをしてごらんなさい。どうなりますか。当て布は縮んで着物を破り、穴はますます大きくなってしまうでしょう。 22 新しいぶどう酒を古い皮袋に入れることもしません。そんなことをしたら、皮袋は張り裂け、ぶどう酒はこぼれ、どちらもだいなしでしょう。新しいぶどう酒には、新しい皮袋が必要なのです。」
23 ある安息日（神の定めた休息日）のこと、イエスと弟子たちは麦畑の中を歩いていました。すると、弟子たちが麦の穂を摘んで、食べ始めました。 24 これを見たパリサイ人たちは、「お弟子さんたちがあんなことをするなんて！ 安息日に刈り入れをするのは違反なのをご存じのはずでしょう」と、イエスに抗議しました。
25-26 しかし、イエスはお答えになりました。「アビヤタルが大祭司のころ、ダビデ王とその家来たちが空腹でがまんできなかった時、神殿に入って、祭司以外が食べてはいけない特別のパンを食べたというのを、読んだことがないのですか。それもおきてに反することでしょうか。 27 いいですか。安息日は人間のためにつくられたのであって、人間が安息日のためにつくられたのではありません。 28 メシヤ（救い主）のわたしには、安息日に何をしてよいかを決める権威もあるのです。」

治好瘸腿的人
2 过了些日子，耶稣回到迦百农。耶稣回家的消息也随之传开了。 2 很多人来见耶稣，房子挤得满满的，甚至连门外都没空地，耶稣开始教导人们。 3 此时，有四个人抬着抬着一个瘫痪病人来到他那里。 4 因为屋子里挤满了人，他们无法把瘫痪病人抬到耶稣身边， 只好把耶稣上方的房顶拆开一个洞，把瘫痪病人躺着的垫子从洞口缒下来。 5 耶稣看到他们有如此的信仰，便对瘫痪病人说∶“年轻人，你的罪孽被宽恕了。”
6 一些律法师坐在那里，心想： 7 “这个人怎么竟然这样讲话呢？他在亵渎上帝！除了上帝，谁又能宽恕罪孽呢？”
8 耶稣立刻看出这些人的心思，便对他们说∶“你们为什么心怀这些疑问呢？ 9 两者相比，哪个更容易呢？是对这个瘫痪病人说‘你的罪被宽恕了，’容易，还是说：‘站起来！拿着铺盖走吧，’容易呢？ 10 我要向你们证实，人子在世间有宽恕罪孽的权力。”然后对瘫痪病人说： 11 “我吩咐你站起来！拿上你的铺盖，走回家去吧。” 12 瘫痪病人就站了起来，立即拿起铺盖，在众目睽睽之下走出了屋子。人们对此都惊讶极了，赞美上帝说∶“我们从来没有见过这样的稀罕事。”
利未（马太）跟随耶稣
13 耶稣又来到加利利湖边。许多人跟随他到了那里，耶稣便教导他们。 14 耶稣在湖边行走时，看见亚勒腓的儿子利未正坐在收税的地方，耶稣对利未说∶“跟随我！”利未便起身跟随了耶稣。
15 当天晚些时候，耶稣和门徒们到利未家吃饭。有许多税吏和名声不好的人也成为耶稣的门徒，所以他们当中的许多人也在那里与他们一起吃饭。 16 一些法利赛人的律法师看到耶稣和这些人一起吃饭，就问他的门徒∶“他为什么与税吏和罪人一起吃饭？”
17 耶稣听见了，就对律法师们说∶“健康人不需要医生，需要医生的是那些有病的人。我不是来召唤正直人的，而是来召唤罪人的。”
耶稣不像其他的宗教领袖
18 这时正赶上约翰的门徒和法利赛人在禁食，一些人来问耶稣说∶“为什么约翰的门徒和法利赛人的门徒禁食，而您的门徒却不禁食？”
19 耶稣回答说∶“在婚礼上，当新郎和朋友在一起时，他的朋友们不悲伤。当新郎在场时，他们也不可能禁食。 20 但是，新郎迟早要离开他们的，那时他们会感到悲伤而禁食。
21 “没有人会用没有缩过水的新布去补旧衣服，因为补钉一缩水，会把原来的破洞扯得更大了。 22 谁也不会把新酒装进旧酒囊里，否则，新酒会撑破旧酒囊，结果酒和酒囊两样东西都被毁了。你们总是把新酒装到新酒囊里。”
耶稣是安息日的主
23 在一个安息日里，耶稣和门徒经过一片庄稼地，他的门徒边走边摘麦穗吃。 24 法利赛人看见了，就对耶稣说∶“瞧，他们为什么在安息日里做违法的事情呢？”
25 耶稣说∶“难道你们不曾在书上读到过大卫 [a]和他的手下人在饥饿和缺乏的时候是怎样做的吗？ 26 那还是在亚比亚他当大祭司的时候，大卫就到上帝的大殿里吃了献给上帝的贡饼。摩西律法说，除了祭司之外，别人吃这些东西是不合法的。大卫还是拿了一些分给了手下的人。”
27 然后，耶稣对法利赛人说∶“安息日是为人设立的，而人却不是为了安息日而造的。 28 所以，人子才是每一天的主，甚至也是安息日的主。”

2 After a few days he came back to Capernaum. People soon heard that he was at home.
2 Many came together right away. The house was full. There was no more room, not even outside near the door. Jesus was telling them God's message.
3 Four men brought a sick man to Jesus. The man could not move his arms or legs.
4 But they could not get in the house where Jesus was, because there were so many people. So they went up on the roof. They made a hole in the roof. Then they let down the mat with the sick man on it.
5 Jesus saw that they believed he would be healed. So he said to the sick man, `Son, the wrong things you have done are forgiven.'
6 Some of the scribes were sitting there.
7 They were thinking, `Why does this man say such wrong things against God? He is not giving God respect! Who can forgive the wrong things people do? No one but God can do that.'
8 Jesus understood in his spirit what the scribes were thinking. He said right away, `Why do you think these wrong things in your hearts?
9 Which is easier, to say to the sick man, "The wrong things you have done are forgiven," or to say, "Get up. Take up your mat and walk"?
10 I want you to know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive the wrong things people do.' So he said to the sick man,
11 `I tell you, get up! Take up your mat and go home.'
12 Right away the man stood up in front of them. He took up his mat and went home. They were all very much surprised, and they praised God. They said, `We have never seen anything like this before.'
13 Jesus went out again by the seaside. Many people came to him. So he taught them.
14 As he went along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus. He was sitting at the place where people come to pay taxes. Jesus said to him, `Come with me.' Levi stood up and went with him.
15 Jesus was eating in Levi's house. Many tax collectors and bad people also came. They sat down to eat with Jesus and his disciples. There were many who went with him.
16 The scribes and Pharisees saw that Jesus ate with these people. They said to the disciples, `Why does he eat and drink with bad people?'
17 Jesus heard it. He said to them, `People who are well do not need a doctor. But sick people need him. I did not come to call good people. I came to call bad people to stop doing wrong things.'
18 John's disciples and the Pharisees' disciples were fasting [not eating food for a time]. Some people came to Jesus and said, `The disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast. Why do your disciples not do the same?'
19 Jesus answered them, `The people at a wedding cannot be sad while the man who is married is with them.
20 But the time will come when he will be taken away from them. Then they will fast.
21 No person sews a piece of new cloth on an old coat. If he does, the new cloth will tear the old coat. Then the hole is bigger than it was before.
22 No person puts new wine into old wine skins. If he does, the new wine will break the skins. Then the wine will be lost and the skins will be spoiled. New wine is put into new skins.'
23 Jesus was walking through the grainfields on the Sabbath day. His disciples began to pick some of the seed (to eat) as they went along.
24 The Pharisees said to Jesus, `Why do your disciples do what is not right on the Sabbath day?'
25 Jesus answered them, `Have you not read what David did? He and his men who were with him were hungry.
26 He went into God's house when Abiathar was the high priest. Some bread was there for God. It was not right for them to eat it. Only the priests have the right to eat it. But David took the bread and ate it. He also gave some of it to the people who were with him.'
27 Jesus went on to say, `The Sabbath was made for the good of man. Man was not made for the Sabbath.
28 So the Son of Man rules over the Sabbath day.'
