⁵ Then they set out, and the terror of God^(A) fell on the towns all around them so that no one pursued them.^(B)

²⁷ “I will send my terror^(A) ahead of you and throw into confusion^(B) every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.^(C)

²⁵ This very day I will begin to put the terror^(A) and fear^(B) of you on all the nations under heaven. They will hear reports of you and will tremble^(C) and be in anguish because of you.”

²⁵ No one will be able to stand against you. The Lord your God, as he promised you, will put the terror^(A) and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.^(B)
