5 Oo kuwanuna waa wiilashii Ruubeen kaasoo ahaa curadkii Israa'iil, (laakiinse isagu wuxuu nijaaseeyey gogoshii aabbihiis oo sidaas daraaddeed curadnimadiisii waxaa la siiyey wiilashii Yuusuf ina Israa'iil, oo abtiriskiisiina laguma tirin xagga curadnimadiisii. 2 Yahuudah walaalihiis wuu ka xoog badnaa, oo isaga xaggiisuu amiirku ka yimid, laakiinse curadnimada waxaa iska lahaa Yuusuf:) 3 oo wiilashii Ruubeen oo ahaa curadkii Israa'iil waxay ahaayeen Xanoog, iyo Falluu, iyo Xesroon, iyo Karmii. 4 Farcankii Yoo'eelna wuxuu ahaa Shemacyaah oo dhalay Juuj, oo isna dhalay Shimcii, oo isna dhalay Miikaah, 5 oo isna dhalay Re'aayaah, oo isna dhalay Bacal, 6 oo isna dhalay Be'eeraah, oo ahaa kii boqorkii Ashuur oo Tilgad Filneser la odhan jiray uu maxaabiis ahaanta u kaxaystay, oo isna wuxuu ahaa amiirkii reer Ruubeen. 7 Oo qolooyiinkii walaalihiis ahaa markii abtiriskii dhalashadooda la tiriyey waxay ahaayeen duqii Yecii'eel iyo Sekaryaah, 8 iyo Belac oo ahaa ina Caasaas ina Shemac oo ahaa ina Yoo'eel oo degganaan jiray Carooceer, iyo xataa tan iyo Nebo iyo Bacal Mecoon, 9 oo xagga barina wuxuu degganaan jiray tan iyo xataa meesha laga galo cidlada markii laga soo bilaabo Webi Yufraad, maxaa yeelay, xoolahoodii ayaa ku tarmay dalkii Gilecaad. 10 Oo wakhtigii Saa'uul ayay la dagaallameen reer Hagrii'iim, oo iyaga gacantooda ku baabba'ay, oo iyana waxay degeen teendhooyinkoodii ku dhex yiil dalkii Gilecaad bari ka xigay oo dhan.

11 Oo waxaa meel iyaga ka soo hor jeedda, oo ah dalka Baashaan iyo tan iyo Salkaah degganaa wiilashii Gaad 12 kuwaasoo ahaa Yoo'eel oo madax ahaa, iyo Shaafaam oo ahaa kii labaad, iyo Yacnay, iyo Shaafaad, waxay wada joogeen Baashaan, 13 oo walaalahood oo ay isku reer ahaayeen waxay ahaayeen Miikaa'eel, iyo Meshullaam, iyo Shebac, iyo Yooray, iyo Yackaam, iyo Siica, iyo Ceeber, oo waxay ahaayeen toddoba. 14 Oo kuwanuna waxay ahaayeen wiilashii Abiixayil ina Xuurii, oo ahaa ina Yaaroo'ax, oo ahaa ina Gilecaad, oo ahaa ina Miikaa'eel, oo ahaa ina Yeshiishay, oo ahaa ina Yaxdoo, oo ahaa ina Buus; 15 Axii ina Cabdii'eel oo ahaa ina Guunii madax buu u ahaa reerahoodii. 16 Oo waxay degganaayeen Gilecaad oo Baashaan ku tiil iyo magaalooyinkeedii, iyo Shaaroon agagaarkeedii oo dhan, iyo tan iyo soohdintooda meesha ugu fog. 17 Oo kuwan oo dhan abtiriskooda waxaa la tiriyey wakhtigii Yootam oo boqorkii dalka Yahuudah ahaa iyo wakhtigii Yaaraabcaam oo boqorkii dalka Israa'iil ahaa.
18 Oo reer Ruubeen, iyo reer Gaad, iyo qabiilkii reer Manaseh badhkiis raggoodii xoogga lahaa oo awoodda u lahaa inay gaashaan iyo seef qaadaan, iyo inay qaansooyin ganaan, oo dagaalyahannada ahaa waxay ahaayeen afar iyo afartan kun iyo toddoba boqol iyo lixdan nin oo wada awooda inay dagaal u baxaan. 19 Oo iyagu waxay la dagaallameen reer Hagrii'iim iyo reer Yetuur, iyo reer Naafiish, iyo reer Naadaab. 20 Oo iyagiina waa looga hiiliyey, markaasaa reer Hagrii'iim waxaa la soo geliyey gacantoodii, iyagii iyo kuwii kale oo la jiray oo dhanba, waayo, intay dagaalka ku jireen ayay Ilaah u qayshadeen, wuuna aqbalay, maxaa yeelay, isagay isku halleeyeen. 21 Oo waxay iyagii ka dhaceen xoolahoodii kuwaasoo ahaa geel ah konton kun, iyo ido ah laba boqol iyo konton kun, iyo dameerro ah laba kun, iyo dad tiradiisu tahay boqol qof. 22 Oo qaar badan baa laga laayay, maxaa yeelay, dagaalku wuxuu ka yimid xag Ilaah. Oo meeshoodii bayna degeen tan iyo waagii maxaabiisnimada.

23 Oo qabiilkii reer Manaseh badhkoodna dalkay degeen, oo waxay ku kordheen tan iyo Baashaan, iyo ilaa Bacal Xermoon, iyo tan iyo Seniir, iyo ilaa Buur Xermoon. 24 Oo kuwii reerahooda madaxda u ahaana waxay ahaayeen Ceefer, iyo Yishcii, iyo Elii'eel, iyo Casrii'eel, iyo Yeremyaah, iyo Hoodawyaah, iyo Yaxdii'eel, oo intaasu waxay wada ahaayeen rag xoog badan oo magac leh oo reerahooda madax u ah.
25 Oo iyagu waxay ku xadgudbeen Ilaahii awowayaashood, oo sidii naag ninkeedii ka dhillowday ayay raaceen ilaahyadii dadkii dalka degganaa, oo Ilaah hortooda ku baabbi'iyey. 26 Oo markaasaa Ilaah wuxuu kiciyey boqorkii Ashuur ee Fuul ahaa, kaasoo ahaa boqorkii Ashuur oo Tilgad Filneser ahaa, oo isna iyagii buu kaxaystay xataa reer Ruubeen, iyo reer Gaad, iyo qabiilkii reer Manaseh badhkiis, oo wuxuu iyagii geeyey Xalax, iyo Xaaboor, iyo Haaraa, iyo tan iyo webiga Goosaan, oo halkaasay joogaan ilaa maantadan.

Reuben
5 The sons of Reuben(A) the firstborn of Israel (he was the firstborn, but when he defiled his father’s marriage bed,(B) his rights as firstborn were given to the sons of Joseph(C) son of Israel;(D) so he could not be listed in the genealogical record in accordance with his birthright,(E) 2 and though Judah(F) was the strongest of his brothers and a ruler(G) came from him, the rights of the firstborn(H) belonged to Joseph)— 3 the sons of Reuben(I) the firstborn of Israel:
Hanok, Pallu,(J) Hezron(K) and Karmi.
4 The descendants of Joel:
Shemaiah his son, Gog his son,
Shimei his son, 5 Micah his son,
Reaiah his son, Baal his son,
6 and Beerah his son, whom Tiglath-Pileser[a](L) king of Assyria took into exile. Beerah was a leader of the Reubenites.
7 Their relatives by clans,(M) listed according to their genealogical records:
Jeiel the chief, Zechariah, 8 and Bela son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel. They settled in the area from Aroer(N) to Nebo(O) and Baal Meon.(P) 9 To the east they occupied the land up to the edge of the desert that extends to the Euphrates(Q) River, because their livestock had increased in Gilead.(R)
10 During Saul’s reign they waged war against the Hagrites(S), who were defeated at their hands; they occupied the dwellings of the Hagrites throughout the entire region east of Gilead.
Gad
11 The Gadites(T) lived next to them in Bashan, as far as Salekah:(U)
12 Joel was the chief, Shapham the second, then Janai and Shaphat, in Bashan.
13 Their relatives, by families, were:
Michael, Meshullam, Sheba, Jorai, Jakan, Zia and Eber—seven in all.
14 These were the sons of Abihail son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz.
15 Ahi son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, was head of their family.
16 The Gadites lived in Gilead, in Bashan and its outlying villages, and on all the pasturelands of Sharon as far as they extended.
17 All these were entered in the genealogical records during the reigns of Jotham(V) king of Judah and Jeroboam(W) king of Israel.
18 The Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh had 44,760 men ready for military service(X)—able-bodied men who could handle shield and sword, who could use a bow, and who were trained for battle. 19 They waged war against the Hagrites, Jetur,(Y) Naphish and Nodab. 20 They were helped(Z) in fighting them, and God delivered the Hagrites and all their allies into their hands, because they cried(AA) out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted(AB) in him. 21 They seized the livestock of the Hagrites—fifty thousand camels, two hundred fifty thousand sheep and two thousand donkeys. They also took one hundred thousand people captive, 22 and many others fell slain, because the battle(AC) was God’s. And they occupied the land until the exile.(AD)
The Half-Tribe of Manasseh
23 The people of the half-tribe of Manasseh(AE) were numerous; they settled in the land from Bashan to Baal Hermon, that is, to Senir (Mount Hermon).(AF)
24 These were the heads of their families: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah and Jahdiel. They were brave warriors, famous men, and heads of their families. 25 But they were unfaithful(AG) to the God of their ancestors and prostituted(AH) themselves to the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them. 26 So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit(AI) of Pul(AJ) king of Assyria (that is, Tiglath-Pileser(AK) king of Assyria), who took the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh into exile. He took them to Halah,(AL) Habor, Hara and the river of Gozan, where they are to this day.
