¹² So ^(A)the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

²² For ^(A)I delight in the law of God, ^(B)in my inner being,

²⁵ Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.

^19 (A)For neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but ^(B)keeping the commandments of God.

¹⁴ For ^(A)the whole law is fulfilled in one word: ^(B)“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Keep in Step with the Spirit

¹⁶ But I say, ^(A)walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify ^(B)the desires of the flesh.

¹⁸ But if you are ^(A)led by the Spirit, ^(B)you are not under the law. ¹⁹ Now ^(C)the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, ^(D)divisions, ²¹ envy,^[a] drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that ^(E)those who do^[b] such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. ²² But ^(F)the fruit of the Spirit is ^(G)love, joy, peace, patience, ^(H)kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ^23 (I)gentleness, ^(J)self-control; ^(K)against such things there is no law.
