    that the mountains^(C) would tremble before you!

⁸ the earth shook,^(A) the heavens poured down rain,^(B)
    before God, the One of Sinai,^(C)
    before God, the God of Israel.^(D)

“when the reaper^(B) will be overtaken by the plowman^(C)
    and the planter by the one treading^(D) grapes.
New wine^(E) will drip from the mountains
    and flow from all the hills,^(F)

⁵ The Lord, the Lord Almighty—
he touches the earth and it melts,^(A)
    and all who live in it mourn;
the whole land rises like the Nile,
    then sinks like the river of Egypt;^(B)

¹⁵ Look down from heaven^(A) and see,
    from your lofty throne,^(B) holy and glorious.
Where are your zeal^(C) and your might?
