¹² But Moses said to the Lord, “Behold, the people of Israel have ^(A)not listened to me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, for ^(B)I am of uncircumcised lips?”

⁶ Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, ^(A)I do not know how to speak, ^(B)for I am only a youth.”

³⁰ But Moses said to the Lord, “Behold, ^(A)I am of uncircumcised lips. How will Pharaoh listen to me?”

¹⁰ But Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but ^(A)I am slow of speech and of tongue.”

^51 (A)“You stiff-necked people, ^(B)uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. ^(C)As your fathers did, so do you.

⁴¹ so that I walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemies—if then their ^(A)uncircumcised heart is ^(B)humbled and they make amends for their iniquity,

⁹ Moses spoke thus to the people of Israel, but they ^(A)did not listen to Moses, because of their broken spirit and harsh slavery.

²⁹ Then Moses and Aaron ^(A)went and gathered together all the elders of the people of Israel. ^30 (B)Aaron spoke all the words that the Lord had spoken to Moses and did the signs in the sight of the people. ³¹ And the people ^(C)believed; and when they heard that the Lord had ^(D)visited the people of Israel and that he had ^(E)seen their affliction, ^(F)they bowed their heads and worshiped.
