Financial Stress

Money is frequently the last stronghold we relinquish to God’s control. We give ourselves a false sense of security if we can manage our expenses and keep budgets. But if an unforeseen illness or accident happens, then suddenly we realize we’re not in control anymore (as if we ever really were).

The destitute widow came to Elisha when she had exhausted all other options for saving herself. And God was gracious. Include God in your finances from the beginning. He can help you with any financial situation you face; he wants you to depend solely on him.
