If it is possible as far as it depends on you be at peace with everyone. — Romans 12:18
"If it is possible" are some very powerful words. There are many relationships that do not seem possible and some of them are not. But God knows about and even created the impossible people in your life.
This week I want to talk with you about what is possible. In the video I will share with you some healthy relationship recipes that will help with difficult situations, broken families or "impossible" in-laws.
If you're ready to rebuild and restore the joy of Christmas and conquer some difficult relationship challenges, I know this weeks teaching is going to equip and encourage you as I share from the word of God some real key-ingredients to use during your holiday season.
God's Letter to You
I believe if The Lord was going to write you a personal letter about battles this life brings it may read like this....
My Child,
The enemy of your soul wants to divide you against members of your own family. If you’re not careful, you will end up falling prey to his plan of attack and wound loved ones. Even if you win the argument, you will lose if you’re not fighting for the good of the relationship. Before you engage or entangle yourself in a war you cannot win with words, stop and call out to Me. When you feel anger welling up inside, remember that love is your greatest weapon in any conflict. Because your flesh will fail, you will need to be controlled by the power of My Holy Spirit. Remember you are a family--My family. You are on the same team and fighting the same enemy. So fight by doing what is right in my sight, and you will win.
Love,
Your Heavenly Father
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. — Ephesians 6:12
Treasure of Truth
It's not who you're fighting with, it's what you're fighting for that matters.
