He Knows Us Completely
“You have searched me and you know me. … When I was woven together … your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalm 139:1, 15-16
Before I came to know Jesus, I lived as if God did not know me. I had no clue there was a higher Being who cared about me. I was on my own, thinking anything that happened was a result of random chance and the senseless cruelties of life.
If this is how you too have lived any portion of your life, it’s time for you to come to Jesus. You’ll begin to understand as I did that God is your powerful Creator and loving Savior. When I first became a Christian, I couldn’t grasp that He always knew my rebellion against Him yet still chose to protect me and save me. It took several years for me to fully comprehend that God knows everything about me.
Friend, He created you with a specific design in mind. He ordained the days of your life, your joys, your trials, your deepest thoughts and longings. Psalm 139 reveals God’s heart towards you in ways that you can appreciate only after you have been saved.
Whatever the Lord allows us to experience this side of heaven is redeemed to bring us closer to Him and to reveal His glory to us and the world.
