Daniel said to him, ‘Very well! This lie has cost you also your head, for the angel of God is waiting with his sword to split you in two, so as to destroy you both.’

Forsooth Daniel said to him, Rightly also thou liest in (or against) thine (own) head; for the angel of the Lord dwelleth, and hath a sword, that he cut thee by (or across) the middle, and slay you.
