So his wife Zeresh and all his friends told him, “Order preparation of a pole that is seventy-five feet high. In the morning, speak with the king about having Mordecai impaled on it. Then you can go with the king to the feast in a happy mood.” Haman liked the idea and had the pole prepared.
His wife Zosara and his friends said to him, ‘Let a gallows be made, fifty cubits high, and in the morning tell the king to have Mordecai hanged on it. Then, go merrily with the king to the dinner.’ This advice pleased Haman, and so the gallows was prepared.
