Bel and the Dragon 5
Print
He said, “I don’t honor idols made by humans, rather the living God who created heaven and earth and has authority over all living things.”
He answered, ‘Because I do not revere idols made with hands, but the living God, who created heaven and earth and has dominion over all living creatures.’
He answered, “Because I do not revere idols made with hands but the living God, who created heaven and earth and has dominion over all living creatures.”
And the king said to him, “Why do you not worship Bel?” He answered, “Because I do not revere man-made idols, but the living God, who created heaven and earth and has dominion over all flesh.”
Which answered, and said to him, For I worship not idols made by hand, but God living, that made (out) of nought heaven and earth, and hath power of (or over) each flesh. [Which answering saith to him, For I worship not idols made by hand, but (the) living God, that made of nought heaven and earth, and hath power of each flesh.]
