7:13–15 These verses do not appear in Kings. They report God’s response to several requests mentioned in Solomon’s prayer (6:14–42). Readers of the time following the return of exiles from Babylonia were looking to God to help them restore or “heal” the land (Introduction to 1 Chronicles: Date and Occasion).
