Hemorrhage

HEMORRHAGE. Bleeding or the flow of blood from a break in continuity of a blood vessel whether from injury or frailty of the blood vessel walls.

The woman having an issue of blood twelve years (Luke 8:43, 44) doubtless had recurrent severe hemorrhage every month in connection with her menstrual flow because of a fibroid tumor in the womb, a condition readily treated today by surgery.
