V 1: REIGN All can be glad that the Lord is in charge! V 2–6: RIGHTEOUSNESS Righteousness and justice are God’s foundational qualities, and the heavens themselves declare both His righteousness and His glory. V 7–9: REJOICING Unlike the shame of those who worship other gods, rejoicing marks those people who respect His judgements and know He is exalted above all other gods. V 10–12: REMEMBRANCE Those who belong to Him, His ‘saints’, have light and gladness in Him, hate evil, and give thanks when they remember His holy name.
