G. Controversy About Demons (11:14-28)

In response to criticism Jesus affirmed that his success in casting out demons was not the work of the prince of demons. It was done by the finger (i.e., power) of God and was evidence that the kingdom of God had already come (v.20). But, he added, it is not sufficient for the soul to be rid of demons. An empty soul is an invitation for more demons to enter.
