Libni [Lĭb'nī]—white or distinguished.

  1. Son of Gershon and grandson of Levi. Also founder of a tribal family (Exod. 6:17; Num. 3:18, 21; 1 Chron. 6:17, 20).
  2. Grandson of Merari the son of Levi (1 Chron. 6:29).
