Hakkoz, Koz, Coz [Hăk'kŏz,Kŏz, Cŏz]—the thorn or the nimble.

  1. A descendant of Aaron and chief of the seventh course in the sanctuary service appointed by David (1 Chron. 24:10; see KOZ in Ezra 2:61; Neh. 3:4, 21). This family of priests failed to prove their identity.
  2. A man of Judah (1 Chron. 4:8).
