Eglon [Ĕg'lŏn]—circle or chariot. A king of Moab who captured Jericho and who, after his long oppression of the Israelites, was slain by Ehud, son of Gera (Judg. 3:12-17). Also the name of a city near Judah (Josh. 10:3).
