3 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିଲ, “ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ମନୋନୀତ ରାଜା ସଙ୍ଗେ ଏକ ଚୁକ୍ତି କରିଲି।
ମୁଁ ମୋର ଦାସ ଦାଉଦ ସହିତ ଏକ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କଲି।
4 ‘ହେ ଦାଉଦ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶକୁ ସଦାକାଳ ଅମର କରିବି
ଓ ପରମ୍ପରା କ୍ରମେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସିଂହାସନକୁ ଶକ୍ତ କରିବି।’” ସେଲା
