26 I sjätte månaden sände Gud ängeln Gabriel till staden Nasaret i Galileen, 27 till en jungfru[a] som hette Maria och som var trolovad[b] med en man som hette Josef, av Davids släkt.

28 Ängeln kom in och sa till henne: ”Gläd dig, du högt benådade! Herren är med dig!”
