彼得後書 1:16-21
可信的預言
16 要知道，我們從前讓你們明白我們主耶穌基督的大能和他來臨的事，並不是隨從巧言編造的故事，相反，我們是親眼見過他威榮的人。 17 他從父神領受尊貴和榮耀的時候，從那威嚴的榮耀中，有這樣的聲音向他傳來，說：
「這是我的愛子，
我所喜悅的。」[a]
18 這從天上傳來的聲音，是我們與他一起在聖山上的時候聽見的， 19 並且我們有先知更確切的話語。你們如果留心這些話語，把它當做照耀在暗處的燈，一直到天光破曉、晨星在你們心中升起，你們就做得很好了。 20 你們首先要知道這一點：經上的一切預言都不是出於人自己的解釋[b]； 21 因為預言從來不是藉著人的意思傳來的，而是人受聖靈的感動[c]說出從神而來的話[d]。
