彼得后书 3:8-13

8 可是，各位蒙爱的人哪，你们不可忽略这一点：在主看来，一日如千年，千年如一日。 9 主没有像有些人认为的那样，拖延所应许的；相反，他对你们恒久忍耐，不愿任何人灭亡，而愿所有人都来悔改。

10 不过，主的日子要来临，就像[a]贼来临那样。在那日，诸天要轰然一声地消逝，天体[b]将被火焚烧而废除，地和地上的作为也都将被暴露出来[c]。 11 既然这一切都要如此被废除，那么，你们应该做什么样的人呢？应该行为圣洁、敬畏神， 12 等候并催促[d]神的日子来临。因为在那日，诸天将被焚烧而废除，天体[e]要被火焚烧而熔化。 13 但照着他的应许，我们等候着一个新天新地，有公义居住在那里。
