21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Psalm 107:1-9

107 O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy,

and gathered them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them.

Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses.

And He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city for habitation.

Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!

For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

Psalm 107:43

43 Whoso is wise and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.

Hosea 9

Rejoice not for joy, O Israel, as other people, for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God; thou hast loved for reward upon every threshing floor.

The floor and the wine press shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her.

They shall not dwell in the Lord’S land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.

They shall not offer wine offerings to the Lord, neither shall they be pleasing unto Him; their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners. All that eat thereof shall be polluted, for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the Lord.

What will ye do in the solemn day, and in the day of the feast of the Lord?

For lo, they are gone because of destruction. Egypt shall gather them up; Memphis shall bury them. Nettles shall possess the pleasant places for their silver; thorns shall be in their tabernacles.

The days of visitation have come, the days of recompense have come; Israel shall know it. The prophet is a fool; the man of the spirit is mad because of the multitude of thine iniquity and great hatred.

The watchman of Ephraim was with my God; but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.

They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah. Therefore He will remember their iniquity; He will visit their sins.

10 “I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the first ripe of the fig tree at her first season. But they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame, and their abominations were according as they loved.

11 As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.

12 Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left; yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!

13 Ephraim, as I saw Tyre, is planted in a pleasant place; but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer.”

14 Give them, O Lord — what wilt Thou give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.

15 “All their wickedness is in Gilgal, for there I hated them; for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of Mine house. I will love them no more; all their princes are revolters.

16 Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit; yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.”

17 My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto Him; and they shall be wanderers among the nations.

Ephesians 4:17-24

17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

18 having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart,

19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over unto lasciviousness to work all uncleanness with greediness.

20 But ye have not so learned Christ,

21 if so it be that ye have heard Him and have been taught by Him as the truth is in Jesus:

22 that ye put off, concerning your former manner of living, the old man which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,

23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

24 and that ye put on that new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
