Psalm 93

The Eternal Reign of the Lord

93 The (A)Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty;
The Lord is clothed,
(B)He has girded Himself with strength.
Surely the world is established, so that it cannot be [a]moved.
(C)Your throne is established from of old;
You are from everlasting.

The floods have [b]lifted up, O Lord,
The floods have lifted up their voice;
The floods lift up their waves.
(D)The Lord on high is mightier
Than the noise of many waters,
Than the mighty waves of the sea.

Your testimonies are very sure;
Holiness adorns Your house,
O Lord, [c]forever.

1 Chronicles 12:16-22

16 Then some of the sons of Benjamin and Judah came to David at the stronghold. 17 And David went out [a]to meet them, and answered and said to them, “If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no [b]wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look and bring judgment.” 18 Then the Spirit [c]came upon (A)Amasai, chief of the captains, and he said:

We are yours, O David;
We are on your side, O son of Jesse!
Peace, peace to you,
And peace to your helpers!
For your God helps you.”

So David received them, and made them captains of the troop.

19 And some from Manasseh defected to David (B)when he was going with the Philistines to battle against Saul; but they did not help them, for the lords of the Philistines sent him away by agreement, saying, (C)“He may defect to his master Saul and endanger our heads.” 20 When he went to Ziklag, those of Manasseh who defected to him were Adnah, Jozabad, Jediael, Michael, Jozabad, Elihu, and Zillethai, captains of the thousands who were from Manasseh. 21 And they helped David against (D)the bands of raiders, for they were all mighty men of valor, and they were captains in the army. 22 For at that time they came to David day by day to help him, until it was a great army, (E)like the army of God.

Revelation 21:5-14

Then (A)He who sat on the throne said, (B)“Behold, I make all things new.” And He said [a]to me, “Write, for (C)these words are true and faithful.”

And He said to me, (D)“It[b] is done! (E)I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. (F)I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes [c]shall inherit all things, and (G)I will be his God and he shall be My son. (H)But the cowardly, [d]unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in (I)the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

The New Jerusalem(J)

Then one of (K)the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came [e]to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you (L)the [f]bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 10 And he carried me away (M)in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me (N)the [g]great city, the [h]holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 (O)having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with (P)twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 (Q)three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.

14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and (R)on them were the [i]names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
