Version
Psalm 67

Psalm 67

For the choir director; on stringed instruments; a psalm; a song.

May Elohim have pity on us and bless us!
May he smile on us. Selah
Then your ways will be known on earth,
    your salvation throughout all nations.

Let everyone give thanks to you, O Elohim.
Let everyone give thanks to you.
Let the nations be glad and sing joyfully
because you judge everyone with justice
and guide the nations on the earth. Selah
Let the people give thanks to you, O Elohim.
Let all the people give thanks to you.
The earth has yielded its harvest.
May Elohim, our Elohim, bless us.
May Elohim bless us,
and may all the ends of the earth worship him.

Proverbs 2:9-15

Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—
    every good course in life.

10 Wisdom will come into your heart.
Knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
11 Foresight will protect you.
    Understanding will guard you.

12 Wisdom will save you
    from the way of evil,
from the person who speaks devious things,
13 from those who abandon the paths of righteousness
to walk the ways of darkness,
14 from those who enjoy doing evil,
from those who find joy in the deviousness of evil.
15 Their paths are crooked.
    Their ways are devious.

Luke 19:1-10

Zacchaeus Meets Jesus

19 Yeshua was passing through Jericho. A man named Zacchaeus was there. He was the director of tax collectors, and he was rich. He tried to see who Yeshua was. But Zacchaeus was a small man, and he couldn’t see Yeshua because of the crowd. So Zacchaeus ran ahead and climbed a fig tree to see Yeshua, who was coming that way.

When Yeshua came to the tree, he looked up and said, “Zacchaeus, come down! I must stay at your house today.”

Zacchaeus came down and was glad to welcome Yeshua into his home. But the people who saw this began to express disapproval. They said, “He went to be the guest of a sinner.”

Later, at dinner, Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Lord, I’ll give half of my property to the poor. I’ll pay four times as much as I owe to those I have cheated in any way.”

Then Yeshua said to Zacchaeus, “You and your family have been saved today. You’ve shown that you, too, are one of Abraham’s descendants. 10 Indeed, the Son of Man has come to seek and to save people who are lost.”
