Version
Psalm 18:20-30

20 Yahweh has (A)rewarded me according to my righteousness;
According to the (B)cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me.
21 For I have (C)kept the ways of Yahweh,
And have (D)not wickedly departed from my God.
22 For all (E)His judgments were before me,
And I did not put away His (F)statutes from me.
23 I was also [a](G)blameless with Him,
And I (H)kept myself from my iniquity.
24 Therefore Yahweh has (I)recompensed me according to my righteousness,
According to the cleanness of my hands before His eyes.

25 With (J)the [b]kind You show Yourself kind;
With the blameless (K)You show Yourself blameless;
26 With the pure You show Yourself (L)pure,
And with the crooked (M)You show Yourself [c]astute.
27 For You (N)save an afflicted people,
But (O)eyes which are lifted up, You bring down.
28 For You (P)light my lamp;
Yahweh my God (Q)illumines my darkness.
29 For by You I can [d](R)run upon a troop;
And by my God I can (S)leap over a wall.

30 As for God, His way is [e](T)blameless;
The (U)word of Yahweh is [f]tried;
He is a (V)shield to all who take refuge in Him.

Ruth 2:15-23

15 Then she rose to glean, and Boaz commanded his young men, saying, “Let her glean even among the sheaves, and do not dishonor her. 16 Also you shall purposely pull out for her some grain from the bundles and [a]leave it that she may glean, and do not rebuke her.”

17 So she gleaned in the field until evening. Then she beat out what she had gleaned, and it was about an [b]ephah of barley. 18 She took it up and went into the city, and her mother-in-law saw what she had gleaned. She also took it out and (A)gave [c]Naomi what she had left after [d]she was satisfied. 19 Her mother-in-law then said to her, “Where did you glean today and where did you [e]work? May he who (B)took notice of you be blessed.” So she told her mother-in-law with whom she had [f]worked and said, “The name of the man with whom I worked today is Boaz.” 20 Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, “(C)May he be blessed of Yahweh who has not forsaken his lovingkindness to the living and to the dead.” Then Naomi said to her, “The man is [g]our relative; he is one of our kinsman redeemers.” 21 Then Ruth the Moabitess said, “[h]Furthermore, he said to me, ‘You should [i]stay close to my young men until they have finished all my harvest.’” 22 Naomi said to Ruth her daughter-in-law, “It is good, my daughter, that you go out with his young women, so that others do not oppress you in another field.” 23 So she [j]stayed close by the young women of Boaz in order to glean until (D)the end of the barley harvest and the wheat harvest. And she lived with her mother-in-law.

Romans 12:17-21

17 (A)Never paying back evil for evil to anyone, [a](B)respecting what is good in the sight of all men, 18 if possible, (C)so far as it depends on you, (D)being at peace with all men, 19 (E)never taking your own revenge, beloved—instead [b]leave room for the wrath of God. For it is written, “(F)Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 (G)But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 13:8-10

Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for (A)he who loves [a]his neighbor has fulfilled the law. For this, “(B)You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, “(C)You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does not work evil against a neighbor; therefore (D)love is the fulfillment of the Law.
