彼 得 前 書 2:19-25
19 如果有人因意识到上帝和其旨意，而忍受冤屈的痛苦，那是值得赞扬的。 20 如果你因为做了错事而受到惩罚，那么就没有理由为你所忍受的惩罚，受到赞扬。但是，如果你因为行善，而遭受到痛苦，并忍受了，那才是令上帝喜悦的。 21 上帝就是为此而召唤我们的，因为基督不但为我们受难，并且还为我们留下了榜样，好让我们跟随他的脚步。
22 “他（基督）从没犯过罪，也没有说过谎。”
23 他受辱时没有还口，受难时也没威胁他们，而是把自己完全托付给了公正审判的上帝。 24 基督在十字架上的身体负载着我们的罪孽，为了让我们死于我们的罪孽，而为义而生。他的创伤，使你们得到治愈。 25 因为你们过去就像迷途的羔羊，但是现在，你们已经回到牧羊人和你们生命的保护者的身边了。
