約 翰 福 音 18:28-32
耶稣被带到彼拉多面前
28 士兵们把耶稣从该亚法院子带到了总督府去了。当时是一大早，犹太首领不想进去，免得不洁净 [a]，因为他们要吃逾越餐。 29 于是彼拉多出来见他们，说道∶“你们为什么控告此人？”
30 犹太人说∶“如果这人不是罪犯，我们就不会把他交给您了。”
31 彼拉多说∶“你们抓了他，那你们就按你们的律法判他好了。”
犹太人说∶“我们不允许判死刑。” 32 这正应验了耶稣关于他会怎么死的话。
