雅 各 書 1:9-16
真正的富有
9 贫穷的弟兄应该自豪，因为上帝使他在精神上富有； 10 富裕的弟兄受到贬低也应自豪，因为上帝已展示出他在精神上是贫穷的。他会像野花一样凋零。 11 炽热的太阳一升起便会使草木枯萎；花朵凋谢，它的美丽也就消失了。同样，富人连同他的追求也会这样消失。
诱惑并非来自上帝
12 经受住考验的人是有福的，因为通过考验后，他会领受到上帝应许给爱他的人生命的桂冠。 13 受到诱惑的人不该说∶“上帝在试探我。”因为上帝与邪恶无关，他也不试探任何人。 14 受到诱惑，是受到自己的邪恶欲望牵制和怂恿。 15 欲望受到孕育，便会生成罪恶，罪恶一旦成熟，便会生出死亡。
16 我亲爱的兄弟们，不要上当受骗。
