New King James Version (NKJV)
Version
Psalm 37:12-22

12 The wicked plots against the just,
(A)And gnashes at him with his teeth.
13 (B)The Lord laughs at him,
For He sees that (C)his day is coming.
14 The wicked have drawn the sword
And have bent their bow,
To cast down the poor and needy,
To slay those who are of upright conduct.
15 Their sword shall enter their own heart,
And their bows shall be broken.

16 (D)A little that a righteous man has
Is better than the riches of many wicked.
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
But the Lord upholds the righteous.

18 The Lord knows the days of the upright,
And their inheritance shall be forever.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time,
And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20 But the wicked shall perish;
And the enemies of the Lord,
Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish.
Into smoke they shall vanish away.

21 The wicked borrows and does not repay,
But (E)the righteous shows mercy and gives.
22 (F)For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth,
But those cursed by Him shall be [a]cut off.

2 Chronicles 9:29-31

Death of Solomon(A)

29 (B)Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, in the prophecy of (C)Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of (D)Iddo the seer concerning Jeroboam the son of Nebat? 30 (E)Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years. 31 Then Solomon [a]rested with his fathers, and was buried in the City of David his father. And Rehoboam his son reigned in his place.

Mark 6:35-44

35 (A)When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, “This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late. 36 Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves [a]bread; for they have nothing to eat.”

37 But He answered and said to them, “You give them something to eat.”

And they said to Him, (B)“Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”

38 But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.”

And when they found out they said, (C)“Five, and two fish.”

39 Then He (D)commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass. 40 So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties. 41 And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He (E)looked up to heaven, (F)blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. 42 So they all ate and were filled. 43 And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. 44 Now those who had eaten the loaves were [b]about five thousand men.
