Psalm 150

Let Everything Praise Yahweh

150 Praise Yah.[a]
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty firmament.
Praise him for his mighty deeds;
praise him according to the abundance of his greatness.
Praise him with blast of horn;
praise him with harp and lyre.
Praise him with tambourine and dancing;
praise him with strings and flute.
Praise him with sounding cymbals;
praise him with clashing cymbals.
Every breathing thing,
let it praise Yah.[b]
Praise Yah.[c]

Proverbs 9:1-6

Wisdom’s Banquet

Wisdom has built her house;
    she has hewn her seven pillars.
She has slaughtered her slaughtering, mixed her wine,
    and also set her table.
She has sent her servant girls,[a] she calls
    upon the wings of the high places of town,
“Whoever is simple, let him turn here.”
    As for the one who lacks sense,[b] she says to him,
“Come, eat with my bread;
    drink with the wine I have mixed.
Lay aside simplicity and live;
    walk in the way of understanding.”

Mark 16:9-18

The Longer Ending of Mark

[[Now early on the first day of the week, after he[a] rose, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had expelled seven demons. 10 She went out and[b] announced it[c] to those who were with him while they[d] were mourning and weeping. 11 And those, when they[e] heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, refused to believe it.[f] 12 And after these things, he appeared in a different form to two of them as they[g] were walking, while they[h] were going out into the countryside. 13 And these went and[i] reported it[j] to the others, and they did not believe them. 14 And later, while[k] they were reclining at table, he appeared to the eleven. And he reprimanded their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he[l] had been raised. 15 And he said to them, “Go[m] into all the world and[n] preach the gospel to all creation. 16 The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who refuses to believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will expel demons, they will speak in new tongues, 18 they will pick up[o] snakes.[p] And if they drink any deadly poison it will never hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will get[q] well.”
