約 翰 二 書 1-6
1 我，一名长老，写信给蒙上帝挑选的夫人 [a]和她的儿女。
我爱你们在真理之中的人。不但我爱你们，所有认识真理的人也爱你们。 2 这是因为活在你们心中的真理永远与我们同在。
3 愿父上帝和他的儿子耶稣基督赐予的恩典、怜悯与和平与我们同在。我们通过真理与爱领受这些恩赐。
4 我非常高兴，因为我了解到你们中的一些儿女遵从真理之道，就如父所命令的那样。 5 现在，我亲爱的夫人，我请求你，（我给你们写的不是一条新的命令，而是我们从一开始就听到的那条命令。）我们应该彼此相爱。 6 这爱意味着：我们遵行他的命令。这是那条命令，正如你们从一开始就听过的那样：你们应该在爱中生活。
