Psalm 119:9-16

BETH

Wherewith shall a [a]young man redress his way? in taking heed thereto according to thy word.

10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandments.

11 I have [b]hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.

13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

14 I have had as great [c]delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.

15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy ways.

16 I will delight in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy word.

Haggai 2:1-9

He showeth that the glory of the second Temple shall exceed the first.

In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of king Darius,

In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the Lord by the ministry of the Prophet Haggai, saying,

Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel prince of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak the high Priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,

Who is left among you that saw this [a]House in her first glory, and how do you see it now? is it not in your eyes, in comparison of it as nothing?

Yet now be of good courage, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord, and be of good comfort, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak the high Priest: and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and [b]do it: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts.

According to the word that I covenanted with you, when ye came out of Egypt: so my Spirit shall remain among you, fear ye not.

For thus saith the Lord of hosts, [c]Yet a little while, and I will shake the heavens and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land:

And I will move all nations, and [d]the desire of all nations shall come, and I will fill this House with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.

The [e]silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

Haggai 2:20-23

20 Is the [a]seed yet in the barn? as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.

21 And again the word of the Lord came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

22 Speak to Zerubbabel the prince of Judah, and say, I [b]will shake the heavens and the earth.

23 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the [c]kingdoms of the heathen, and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them, and the horse and the riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

John 12:34-50

34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the (A)Law, that that Christ bideth forever: and how sayest thou, that that Son of man must be lift up? Who is that Son of man?

35 [a]Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is (B)the light with you: walk while ye have that light, lest the darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in the dark, knoweth not whither he goeth.

36 While ye have that light, believe in that light, that ye may be the [b]children of the light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and hid himself from them.

37 [c]And though he had done so many miracles before them, yet believed they not on him,

38 That the saying of Isaiah the Prophet might be fulfilled, that he said, (C)Lord, who believed our report? and to whom is the [d]arm of the Lord revealed?

39 Therefore could they not believe, because that Isaiah saith again,

40 (D)He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart, that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

41 These things said Isaiah when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

42 [e]Nevertheless, even among the chief rulers, many believed in him: but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be cast out of the Synagogue.

43 (E)For they loved the praise of men, more than the praise of God.

44 [f]And Jesus cried, and said, He that believeth in me, believeth [g]not in me, but in him that sent me.

45 And he that seeth me, seeth him that sent me.

46 I (F)am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth in me, should not abide in darkness.

47 (G)And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

48 He that refuseth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: (H)the word that I have spoken, it shall judge him in the last day.

49 For I have not spoken of myself: but the father which sent me, he gave me a commandment what I should say, and what I should speak.

50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: the things therefore that I speak, I speak them so as the Father said unto me.
