Psalm 107:1-3

107 1 The Prophet exhorteth all those that are redeemed by the Lord and gathered unto him, to give thanks, 9 for this merciful providence of God governing all things at his good pleasures, 20 sending good and evil, prosperity and adversity to bring men unto him. 42 Therefore as the righteous thereat rejoice, so shall the wicked have their mouth stopped.

Praise [a]the Lord, because he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

Let them, [b]which have been redeemed of the Lord, show how he hath delivered them from the hand of the oppressor,

And gathered them out of the lands, from the East and from the West, from the North and from the [c]South.

Psalm 107:17-22

17 [a]Fools by reason of their transgression, and because of their iniquities are afflicted.

18 Their soul abhorreth all meat, and they are brought to death’s door.

19 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivereth them from their distress.

20 [b]He sendeth his word and healeth them, and delivereth them from their [c]graves.

21 Let them therefore confess before the Lord his loving kindness, and his wonderful works before the sons of men,

22 And let them offer sacrifices of [d]praise, and declare his works with rejoicing.

Genesis 9:8-17

¶ God spake also to Noah and to his sons with him, saying,

Behold, I, even I establish my [a]covenant with you, and with your [b]seed after you,

10 And with every living creature that is with you, with the fowl, with the cattle, and with every beast of the earth with you, from all that go out of the Ark, unto every beast of the earth.

11 (A)And my covenant will I establish with you, that from henceforth all flesh shall not be rooted out by the waters of the flood, neither shall there be a flood to destroy the earth anymore.

12 Then God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you, and between every living thing that is with you unto perpetual generations.

13 I have set my [c]bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

14 And when I shall cover the earth with a cloud, and the bow shall be seen in the cloud,

15 Then will I remember my [d]covenant which is between me and you, and between every living thing in all flesh, and there shall be no more waters of a flood to destroy all flesh.

16 Therefore the bow shall be in the cloud, that I may see it, and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living thing, in all flesh that is upon the earth.

17 God said yet to Noah, [e]This is the sign of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

Ephesians 1:3-6

(A)[a]Blessed be God, [b]and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, [c]which hath blessed us, with [d]all spiritual blessing in [e]heavenly things in [f]Christ,

[g]As he hath chosen us in [h]him, before the foundation of the world, [i]that we [j]should [k]be holy, and without blame [l]before him in love:

[m]Who hath predestinated us, to be adopted through Jesus Christ [n]in himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.

[o]To the [p]praise of the glory of his grace, [q]wherewith he hath made us freely accepted in his beloved.
