約翰一書 1:3-10

3 我們把所看到、
所聽到的也向你們宣揚，
好使你們也能夠與我們相契合[a]；
而我們又是與父
和他的兒子耶穌基督相契合的。
4 我們寫[b]這些事，
好使我們[c]大家的喜樂得以滿足。

與神相契合

5 我們從基督[d]所聽到，現在又傳講給你們的信息是這樣的：神就是光，在他裡面毫無黑暗。 6 如果我們說自己與神相契合，卻仍然在黑暗中行走，我們就是在說謊，沒有遵行真理； 7 但如果我們在光明中行走，就像神在光明中那樣，我們就是彼此相契合[e]的；而且神的兒子耶穌[f]的血也潔淨我們脫離一切的罪。 8 如果我們說自己沒有罪，我們就是在欺騙自己，真理就不在我們裡面了； 9 如果我們承認自己的罪孽，神[g]是信實的、公義的，他就會赦免我們的罪孽，潔淨我們脫離一切的不義。 10 如果我們說自己沒有犯罪，我們就是把神[h]當做說謊者，他的話語就不在我們裡面了。
